This document discusses using learning resources effectively. It introduces a formula to calculate one's "Act" rate based on their Learning Assets (LA), portion of LA studied (S), understanding rate (U), and application rate (A). 4. How much is your Act?
Each of us maybe have a lot of unread training
resources. eBooks, Articles, Favorites Blogs, Training Video
and more and more. We stock these resources and try to
keep it safe and in some cases we have temptation to
hide it from others. This idea is old fashion and done. Let’s
look at it again. Please fill the blanks with your numbers.

LA:
How much Learning Assets do you have?
Learning Assets is total amount of your learning media
(Learning movies, PDFs …). For instance I have 1000 GB
learning assets in different IT fields.

s:
How much study you did?
Are you study all of your LA? Or just portion of it?
Please indicate in “S” portion of LA that you study up to
now.

7. Undestand
u:
After study are you understand topics clearly?
Is it possible for you present and describe topics for
someone else?
Please indicate your Understanding rate in “U” place in
formula.

8. Apply
a:
“a” is apply. Did you apply all of your learning or just you
are good in theory.
Please indicate your rate of applying in “a” position in
the formula.

Ok 
is your “Act” number is too small? Or seems perfect?
Bad news is Learning Assets is not real asset! Why??
Because every 2-3 years new software and new versions
are coming and all of Learning Assets seems old fashion.
