Companies used to function as more of an island in society and they are now considered more fully integrated. How they operate and conduct business should reflect this. There is no “guide” that will tell you the steps you need to take to be sustainable. Issues vary from sector to sector and from company to company. And almost more importantly, any corporate strategy on sustainability should fit with the organization’s culture to be effective.
