- 2. Family Finder Who will mostly use the app? Parents/carer’s and other family members. What the app will be used for? Locating family members to make sure they are safe. When can the app be used? Anytime day or night. Where can you use the app? Anywhere in moments of worry Why would you use the app? To locate child/dependent or family member when you cannot get a hold of them or to make sure they have arrived at their destination safely.
- 3. Your child/dependent has went out with friends and was meant to be home by a certain time, but has never arrived. You as a parent or carer start to worry. They are not answering phone calls or replying to text messages.
- 4. How can you locate your child/dependent to find out where they are and if they are safe?
- 5. Your child hasn’t arrived home on time. Solutions – you try to contact their mobile by text message or phone call but they do not always answer. You can try to contact you child's friends who may not answer the phone or know where you child is. You also may not have your child's friends contact phone numbers. You have to go out and look for them to make sure they are safe but you don’t always know where to locate them.
- 6. Children of all ages now use mobile phones. Our team, USBeegees, is developing a mobile app to help parents/carers to locate their child/dependent, when they haven't arrived home in time and cannot be contacted, they can be contacted or located with the use of the mobile app.
- 8. @Life 360 Family Locator and Sprint Family Locator are 2 examples of similar apps out there on the market. The tracking on map are not always accurate making is hard to accurately track down family members. These apps both charge a membership fee after the free trial is up. The free versions do not offer all features of the apps. Reviews on the apps also mentioned that the apps could both use an emergency button which none of them have. Our app will be FREE We will also have extra added features at no extra cost. A Zoner which none of these apps offer and a panic button which can be accessed from the home screen of mobile.
- 9. Our app has 3 core features 1. The main feature is to use the gps tracking to track family members on a map so we know their location. 2. Our Zoner allows you to insert a radius of you required distance onto the map and if your child goes out of the zoned area a message will be sent to parent phones alerting them of this. This can be particularly good for younger children who are not allowed to go to far from home. 3. A panic button on the home screen of the mobile so that in times of emergency your family member can press the panic button and a message will automatically be sent to parents phones and emails.

- 15. Project Feasible The Product itself can be used of the on board GPS of the smart phone. Even if the person’s phone is off or battery is dead the person who is trying to locate them can still find them using the Family Finder app.
- 16. Someone else pays with the use of advertisements. As the Family Finder is and app for putting on all family members phones we think it would not be feasible to ask parents and carers to pay for each additional app they plan to put on each phone.
