The General Public
Missing Public Transport
Anytime
Anywhere
Running Late
• Your running on time as
normal, but the bus you
need to catch is early
and you miss it!
• Not sure where to
get that next bus!
• Wish you could locate that bus!
• Standing at the bus stop and
that bus hasn’t shown up 10
minutes after its due!!!
How can you make sure you don’t miss another bus and stay
on top of travel situations?
Bus time tables can be accessed through websites but to get
to it takes forever to access it , the key trick is to make it
easily accessible on the go from anywhere.
Our team, Sonic shockwave, is developing an App
to help the general public get to their destination on time by the
use of our Smart Travel App which will give users bus times on the
fly when in a rush

The feasibility is good,
We feel that our aim is to provide a lot of data fast and easy to
understand and store data along with constantly updated with
information on request along with relevant content that maybe
available on different mobile platforms.
Technical Feasibility of our app is strong. We feel the technical
restraint is some what minimum and can/maybe incorporated fairly
easy with some buses having Wi-Fi already integrated on some buses
Business Model
Instead of the users paying for this app, the sources of revenue could
come from the Digital Ticket Sales as well as advertising will help with funding the
future development of this app.
The government are keen on promoting Public transport,
and therefore may be interested in funding the app.
Another source of income could be from advertising,
from companies relevant to the bus company or local area.
We plan to reach our users by different method’s simply :
• Social media
• Word of mouth
• Approaching the bus service (Stagecoach)

Editor's Notes

  • #3 What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing.Example: Buzzer Buddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
  • #4 What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user researchExamples: Buzzer Buddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
  • #5 What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: Buzzer Buddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
  • #7 To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here.Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
  • #9 Summarise what other solutions or alternatives you have found that already exist in the market and explain why they don’t fully solve the problem you are looking at or why your proposed solution is better.
  • #11 Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of flow and if/ how you have already integrated any user feedback.
  • #12 Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #13 Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #14 Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #15 Summarise what you have learnt about data, content and technical feasibility. This is crucial, if your product relies heavily on any of these areas. If your product does not rely on them heavily, please explain why. This will show that your team has really understood feasibility well.
