2. Definition of Universal Design
According to North Carolina State University, Universal Design is “ the
design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to
the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or
specialized design.”
It is used by many different areas like architecture and education
and with its implication in education will help educators reach all
students.
5. Summary
Using Universal Design for Learning, teachers can give access to the
curriculum to all their students and as well being able to reach them
through different levels of action and expression, which will also lead
to engagement by every student.
