These students have completed one year of World History and one year of American History. S-State Objective The students will explain and describe in great detail the workings and conditions of The Factory of the Industrial Revolution by listening to lecture, participating in an assembly line activity, Pinterest, reading and commenting on blogs, posters, completing a Web quest by the end of the day with 99.9% accuracy S-Select Media and Materials Blogger, Microsoft Word Webquest, Pinterest, Legos, Poster U-Utilize Media and Materials The WebQuest will be on Sam Patch, a factory worker Students will refer back to the poster which have innovations on it that were key to the Industrial Revolution Pinterest will provide a board on factory conditions. Legos are for the Assembly line activity. The blog will be on factory conditions. R-Require Learner Participation Students will use legos to build a simple structure first by themselves then with the entire class to demonstrate the advantage of the assembly line. Students will also be required to comment on the blog E-Evaluate and Revise Students will apply the knowledge they have learned to complete the webquest.
