This document provides an overview of social media product development work for a unit of study. It includes draft designs and final pages for a sign up page and home page. The sign up page allows users to create an account through multiple social media platforms. The home page features the latest videos and audio, recommendations, and ways for users to engage through likes, comments and follows. Standards like W3C and privacy policies are discussed. The conclusion reflects on creating an inclusive website to appeal to different audiences.

4. These are both my hand drawn drafts and Photoshop drafts for my sign up page, these show
just a simple layout of what it should look like and the sorts of things that will feature on this
page such as the logo and the image on the bottom. I developed my ideas from the hand
drawn draft to the Photoshop draft and decided to make it more simple and take away the
wave effects and instead add a effect at the bottom off the page to be more effective and in the
fin al product it turned out much better.

These are both my hand drawn drafts and Photoshop drafts for my home page and I did the
same here as the sign up page where I took out all the wave effects to make it more simple
and effective and this also meant there was more space for important information and also
advertisement. Furthermore this page contains things such as the latest videos, and audio that
have been released, and also if you have a profile already it will use cookies to show the latest
videos which you are most likely to want to watch. Moreover you are able to sign in through
linked social medias such as Facebook, and comment, share and like videos as well as follow
users pages so you can get alerts when they upload again.

6. SIGN UP PAGE
This is both pages for my sign up page on both my website and application this page is simple but effective as it using the same
colour scheme as my homepage and includes just the same logo on the top center on the black background to make it stand
out. This is the page which will pop up when you click on the sign up button for my website or on the application, and this will
ask you for personal information such as your email and username, also it will ask questions such as if you have used the
website before.

7. HOME PAGE
These are both of my home pages for my website and also I made one for an application as you can see they both have lots of information on
each page. However the website looks less packed due to the fact that the space either side of the homepage will be used for advertisement and
these will slowly come along with my website getting exposure and getting known by other companies who want to advertise on the website. The
application includes all the same information but it is condensed into a smaller page. The information that these pages contain are things such as
the latest videos that have been uploaded, the latest radio sets and recommended people to follow.

8. PAGES SUMMARY
Sign up page –
My sign up page allows for multiple sign ups across various social media platforms such as google and Facebook. This is good
as it allows users to not have to sign up for this specific website but can create an account through already having an account.
Furthermore it means they can follow over the same information from their existing account such as their profile picture and
username, which speeds up the process and will therefore draw in more people to sign up top my website.
Homepage –
My homepage includes all of the latest and most popular of both the audio’s and video’s on my website and gives you
suggestions on what to watch according to stuff you have searched up in the past. Furthermore as for the social media aspects
of my website you are able to sign into your account and follow other users which then means you get alerts when they upload
new content. Furthermore you can comment, like and dislike the videos as well as being able to repost them on your page
which is a way off sharing and promoting certain videos/audios. Moreover down the side of my page there is also a suggested
who to follow area which will generate a list of users to follow taking into consideration who you follow already.
Lastly as you can see in the previous slide my homepage has blank areas either side and this was left for all different types of
advertisement, but as my website is new there is not any on their yet but after a while it should start coming together.

9. GUIDELINES AND CONDITIONS
Web standards projects (WaSP) -
One thing that I will ensure to use is the web standards projects (WaSP) and this is due to the fact that it will
help cut down both the costs of my website and also how complex the website will be to develop. If the cost of
my overall production it means that the budget plan that I have put in place is reasonable and will now be
achievable with help from this project, moreover the less complex the development stage of my social media,
hopefully the less errors made in the creating of the website. The last way this will help my website and also
helps the users using my website is through ensuring the software fully understands the websites information so
when people are searching for different radio sets or different genres this will be much easier if the software
understands what it needs to look for.
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) -
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where member organizations, a full time
staff, and the public work together to develop web standards. W3C's primary activity is to develop protocols and
guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web.

Furthermore according to privacy policy this is significant as I need to inform the users what information I will
need to have access to, and also for their own safety and security I will need to let them know how their
information will be secure and not in the hands of third parties.

10. CONCLUSION
In conclusion this learning objective I had the final finished pages for my social media product, which included
both a home page and a sign up page. Both this pages involved all of the aspects I wanted, including a bold
stand out title and the same color scheme throughout all of the pages which was easy as I kept with the blue
tints and contrasting black. I also looked into the legal and ethical issues of my website which is very important
for a professional website, moreover I feel that the website I created is very inclusive and will appeal to a large
audience as I have many different genres and a large range of videos for people to watch, so people can stay
up to date with the music scene.
