• This is a desktop computer, its usually in a fixed position due to its hardrive, desktops
are (PC’s) Personal Computers as opposed to laptops or mobile phones. Early desktop
computers are designed to lay flat on the desk, while modern towers stand upright.
Most modern desktop computers have separate screens and keyboards. Prior to the
widespread use of microprocessors, a computer that could fit on a desk was
considered remarkably small. Early personal computers, like the IBM PC, were
"desktop" machines, with a horizontally-oriented computer case, usually intended to
have the display screen placed on top to save space on the desktop. In modern usage
the word "desktop" usually refers to tower cases that are in fact more often located on
the floor under the desk than on a desk. The tower can consist of the usb slots and CD
drives with the graphics and sound cards.

touch-screen technology and compact battery enables them to be portable meaning
you can carry them around with out needing a charger. larger than a mobile phone or

touching the screen rather than using a physical keyboard. It often uses an onscreen

• A laptop computer is a personal computer for mobile use. A laptop
integrates most of the typical components of a desktop
computer, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device (a
touchpad, also known as a trackpad or pointing stick) and speakers
into a single unit. A laptop is powered by mains electricity via an AC
adapter, and can be used away from an outlet using a rechargeable
  battery.
• Portable computers, originally monochrome CRT-based and
developed into the modern laptops, were originally considered to be a
small niche market, mostly for specialized field applications such as
the military, accountants and sales representatives. As portable
computers became smaller, lighter, cheaper, more powerful and as
screens became larger and of better quality, laptops became very
widely used for all sorts of purposes, by all sorts of people.

• A video game console is an interactive entertainment
computer or customized computer system that produces a
video display signal which can be used with a display
device (a television, monitor, etc.) to display a video
game. The term "video game console" is used to
distinguish a machine designed for people to buy and use
primarily for playing video games on a TV. As of 2007, it
is estimated that video game consoles have made up 75%
  of the world's gaming market

• A smartphone is a mobile phone built on a mobile computing
platform, with more advanced computing ability and connectivity
than a feature phoneThe first smartphones were devices that mainly
combined the functions of a personal digital assistant (PDA) and a
mobile phone or camera phone. Today's models also serve to
combine the functions of portable media players, low-end compact
digital cameras, pocket video cameras, and GPS navigation units.
Modern smartphones typically also include high-resolution
touchscreens, web browsers that can access and properly display
standard web pages rather than just mobile-optimized sites, and high-
speed data access via Wi-Fi and mobile broadband.
