This document defines and describes several common computing devices: desktops are stationary PCs with LCD screens; laptops are portable PCs with LCD screens and optional webcams; tablets are touchscreen devices smaller than laptops with app capabilities; game consoles provide an entertainment system for playing video games; mobile phones are used for calling and messaging in different operating systems; servers run programs to serve other computer programs' requests; and PDAs are personal information managers that can search the web and use media.

 A desktop is a personal computer. A
desktop is a stationed type of computer
used by many businesses and for
people at home. A desktop has an LCD
screen.

3. Laptop
 Laptops are very popular due to the fact
that they are portable and that you can
take them where ever you are. Laptops
have an LCD screen and some have
webcam. You can get smaller versions
of a laptop, they are called net books.

4. Tablets
 Tablets are like laptops but are touch
screen and are much smaller. They are
more advanced than laptops as they can
have apps and other useful programs.

5. Game console
 A game console is an entertainment
system were you can play video games.
It is highly popular to teenagers and to
some adults. Game consoles are very
popular in this generation.

6. Mobile phone
 Mobile phones are used for calling and
messaging people. There are different
types of mobile phone such as OS and
android. The Apple iphone usually uses
the OS and the HTC uses android.

7. Server
 A server is a computer program running
to serve the requests of other programs.
It basically serves the computer
programs.

8. PDA
 This device is a personal information
manager. PDAs are able to search the
web and use certain media.
