They offer a variety of different services like design,
physics engines, art, animation and audio

Responsible for publishing, marketing, promoting and
usually financing.

2. Console Manufacturers/First Party Publishers;
The companies that produce the hardware like the
consoles such as Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
They are responsible for the games being put onto
shelves; they have high power over what becomes
released.
Mobile Platforms and Social Networking;
They are highly used methods of spreading out adverts to
show off the game before it comes out, with the ever-
growing number of people using social networks now; it
has become increasingly popular using them to show ads
Press and Media;
Similar to mobile and social media, they use television
and newspapers in order to make people want to
purchase the games.

3. Distribution and Retail;
Distributers sell to the retailers delivering games from
factories and warehouses
Retailers are the stores with the games on their shelves,
where the public purchases the produced games.
