ISO 41000-2015 FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Background
Facility Management is the management of the myriad of services provided jointly for the good of the
whole operation of the company, manufacturing, production, performance-based offices, hospitals, sports
and others.
That Facility Management has lost its way in the horizon of technical specifications and a target of
achieving by the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) that is not fit for purpose, and have forgotten the core
skills of management, which in the end only served to manage, regulate, control, planning and give.
In the good management will provide firmness, direction, guidance, communication and leadership for all
aspects, but the ability to manage a wide range of services, managing staff, managing expectations of
executives, managing stakeholder expectations, manage customers and clients based on the demands and
requirements is the task of Facility Management, to achieve success.
The introduction of standardization to concentrate more on the management aspects of the technical,
which only obtained on all the industry as a whole, and on this occasion, IS0 41000 was issued, while the
other standard as found on the 9001, 18001 and 15.001, serve as the norm when there is competition for
show professional capability.
ISO 41000-2015 that will be applied internationally by the European Economic Community and the
support of 20 countries, and was followed by more than 20,000 participants as professional practitioners
who support against the existence of a necessity for all countries in the world to follow the international
standards.
Benefits of ISO 41000-2015
1. As a set of guidelines and/or a strategic tool, to provide a structured framework conditions and
processes of the organization, along with the need for competencies and key skills.
2. As a standard to provide proper guidance in the same way on Quality, Occupational Health and Safety
and Environmental Management System Standard.

ISO 41000-2015 is a tool for setting public standards development for the business field; Agriculture &
Food, Business, Commercial & Consumer Goods, Construction, Engineering, Environment, Health &
Safety, Healthcare, ICT, Information Management, Manufacturing, Measurement & Science
ISO 41000-2015, is an international standard that is integrated with other international standards

Objective
1. Guide to plan, create and develop strategy on a set of tools and guidelines, as a standard to establish
the structure and framework and organizational processes.
2. Guide to plan, organize and make the programs needed for the mastery of key skills and competencies
required.
3. Guide in providing proper guidance in the same way as the Quality Standard for Occupational Health,
Safety and Environmental Management System.

That Facility Management has lost its way in the horizon of technical specifications and a target of achieving by the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) that is not fit for purpose, and have forgotten the core skills of management, which in the end only served to manage, regulate, control, planning and give. In the good management will provide firmness, direction, guidance, communication and leadership for all aspects, but the ability to manage a wide range of services, managing staff, managing expectations of executives, managing stakeholder expectations, manage customers and clients based on the demands and requirements is the task of Facility Management, to achieve success. The introduction of standardization to concentrate more on the management aspects of the technical, which only obtained on all the industry as a whole, and on this occasion, IS0 41000 was issued, while the other standard as found on the 9001, 18001 and 15.001, serve as the norm when there is competition for show professional capability. ISO 41000-2015 that will be applied internationally by the European Economic Community and the support of 20 countries, and was followed by more than 20,000 participants as professional practitioners who support against the existence of a necessity for all countries in the world to follow the international standards.
