1. For my first follower I chose Dr. Justin Tarte. I really enjoyed Dr. Tarte’s tweets, pictures, and
charts. Dr. Tarte gave very inspirational tweets that weren’t always giving new information but
just simple tweets to uplift your day and put you in a better mood. He always gave new ideas for
lessons or just new websites of new information. I am glad that I started following Dr. Tarte and
will continue to look at his tweets for new updates and information.
My next follower was George Couros. George was different from some of the other twitter
accounts. He didn’t just post things about education he also posted things about his life. So this
twitter worked for both. I really like George’s twitter because he gave examples and facts of how
technology can be used in to classroom. When tweeting about education he often tweeted quotes
about how we as educators could change the education system and gave you quotes that would
make you think.
My third follower was Kyle Pace like the other educators gives a lot of information about
positive things educators can do. In Kyle’s twitter he talks a-lot about communication and how to
keep it up in school and between others. Kyle also tweets a lot of links to websites that make you
think outside the box. His tweets are also filled with positive and upbeat comments and quotes.
My fourth follower was Tom Altepeter, I thought Tom’s twitter was more for personal use then
the rest of the twitter feeds I followed. There were a lot of tweets to do with sports and things
like that. There were tweets about education but not as much as I would have liked. I guess
because he is a former principal that his main focus isn’t on school as much as is used to be.
The last page that I followed was the classes twitter page. I enjoyed all the information that I got
from the class twitter page. A lot of it was useful to our class and the assignments that we have
been doing throughout the semester. I liked that there were helpful videos and websites to look
at, not just websites like the other feeds. This gave me a new way to look at things and to learn
more things about becoming a better teacher.
