Abstract
Knowledge is infinite with power that makes each individual independent and confident. Wisdom is the only resource
that makes every person equal and eligible in this competitive world. Technology is probably one of the most powerful factors
shaping the educational environment today. Many schools support the improvement of classroom technology by providing
technical assistance such as tablets and computers, improving their internet connectivity, and implementing new plans to
improve the technical skills of teachers and students. Although teachers usually escalate the benefits of educational
technology, they often find it difficult to integrate new-fangled educational technologies smoothly and effectively. After the
acquisition of new technical equipment to the adaptation of curriculum and educational technology to incorporate new
didactic tools, technological incorporation poses significant challenges to all level educators in the educational system. The
aim of this article is to outline the common challenges educators face while trying to bring technology into the classroom and
to provide possible solutions to the existing difficulties. The article has focused on the rustic zone people who always get
neglected from the advancement and new structures of educational techniques. The development based on the training
provided to the teachers on the new methods as well as the implementation of technological assistance in rural zone
classrooms. Therefore, this article has an aim on the productive aspect upon the betterment of educational sector. Both
teachers and learners have to be considered and trained for educational upliftment. Innovative ways of doing works using
technical gadgets at very smart means have to be adapted.
Keywords - Technology, Challenges, Benefits in Education, Advancement in Classrooms, Students of Rustic Zones,
Teaching and Learning.
Introduction
The technology always brings about essential organizational changes that can contribute to substantial
productivity gains. This technology is used to support both education and erudition, equipping classrooms with digital
learning tools such as computers and handheld devices. It helps to develop experiences, access to learning materials and
expand the course offerings. Building skills for the development of learning and teaching method using technology as it
enables to increase both students and teachers’ involvement as well as motivation. Technology has the power to make
teaching an effortless process through the introduction of its various models of teaching methods. It permits connection
between both teachers and students with specialized content; resources and structures to aid students to improve
education and to enable them personalized learning. Technology has influenced many aspects of life and plays an
important role in the development of each and every person’s life. It permits people to automate multiple manual tasks
and to execute easily as well as efficiently more complicated processes. The introduction of technology has made teachers
to easily convey knowledge to students to make them acquire it. The use of modern device technology and tools, improve
student learning and interactivity. This article gives an in-depth resource about the challenges and problems faced by
students as well as teachers in rural areas in integrating technology into education and learning.
One of the major factors that intrude the use of technology in educational sector is the budget limitation or the
inability to afford technical tools and devices. Budgets’ cuts and constraints are the biggest limiting factors in teachers and
managers efforts to provide educational technology to students. This is the major hurdle that advocates of educational
technology have to overcome in order to efficaciously introduce technology into the classroom. According to a recent
survey, 75% of people identified budget constraints as the biggest obstacle to the use of educational technology. Good
1.Challenges Faced While Using Technology
1.1 Budget Limitation
International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET) e-ISSN: 2395-0056
Volume: 09 Issue: 05 | May 2022 www.irjet.net p-ISSN: 2395-0072

technology tools for education are not cheap, so it is especially difficult to overcome budget constraints. Using tools which
are expensive cannot be affordable by the school authorities. Tools like Google cloud are powerful educational tools, but
schools need to make Chromebooks available to students because to the ease with which they can be adopted. Training
sessions fund teachers who cannot handle tight budgets. Budget is a major issue in the case of rural area schools when
compared to others. Daily routines and normal classroom cases are sometimes unaffordable for them. In such cases, some
funding measures from government or any other authorities for the well and embellished form of learning atmosphere are
to be ensured.
1.2 Inefficiency in Vocational Training
Advanced and more established form of techniques using technology has been developed day by day. Teachers
have to get the knowledge about each new technique as well as tools in order to train the students and for their
exceptional proficiency in their teaching career. Classrooms are unlikely to be upgraded with shiny new tools that neither
teachers nor students can use to influence their children’s educational experience, and it is frustrating and time consuming
for busy teachers to train themselves with these new instructional methods along with advanced devices or tools.
Professional training for teachers and faculty can be time consuming and expensive, but it is significant if students are
expected to benefit from their technical experience as well as assistance. Sudden impulse towards teachers to be
progressive in technical platform is not practical. The teachers have to be given time and support to make themselves
familiar with such devices. To an extent, it is essential for teachers to be trained about technical availability present in the
society with regard to the field of education. This provides a beautiful dawn in the picture of educational sector forever. In
case of rural area students and teachers, it is an essential factor that cannot be avoided at any cost. The students and
teachers have to be well equipped and familiarized with this kind of tools for the betterment their educational structures.
1.3 Connectivity
If a school that does not have the network infrastructure provided with new technical tools, it will not have any
positive effect for students. Network connectivity and high-quality WIFI connections are being offered almost in all areas
by different companies. Schools as well as colleges have to be maintained with good network connection for the teaching
process as well as for the administrative purposes over there. Network connection is not just for the educational purposes
but also for the data protection and security, access to digital resources, to reduce the time consuming and finally to get a
great reach in world about the particular institution or subject. Molding a new design, structure and a strong network
infrastructure is necessary for the effective, responsible, and ongoing use of technology in education and have to be
completed with great attention and foresight. In case of rural areas, connectivity issue is a big deal due to their
geographical conditions and unavailability of network connections. Such cases have to be discussed and repaired by the
higher authorities. They are not the exceptional ones who are to be avoided due to certain lack of properties and
potentiality. The barriers they have to face is thrice higher than the normal ones.
2. Benefits of Technology in Educational Field
Nowadays students from lower class level to higher grew up in an atmosphere surrounded by technology. This
generation kids even do not know what it would be like to experience life without mobiles, computers, TV and other
technical equipment’s. In spite of being familiar with technology the incorporation of it into classroom has to be examined
thousand times for them. Technology has the power to make education easier and more equitable. At several schools, the
administrations have inaugurated the use of technical devices like projectors and other handheld devices for the
development of educational activities. They secure money from the grants and donations from communities and business
partners for the development of educational technology in classrooms. Both teachers and students will get profited from
technical assistance in the educational process. Some of the benefits are the following:
2.1 Active participation
Students who use technology in classrooms are always engaged and active because they do not feel bored.
Allowing students to have a device of their own at a ratio of 1:1 then it creates a new initiative where the teachers can
interact and take care of each student. The use of interactive software and other models under technological version can
enable students to be more engaging and to listen lectures digitally. This program can also make use of many opportunities
like making use of games and other such applications for the active participation of students as well as teachers to have
more urge to adapt these designs. In case of rural areas, such devices and use of them are not prohibited but lack of it is the

problem. They have to be ready with devices to make students familiar and active during such learning and teaching
conditions.
2.2 Teamwork and Collaboration
Team work is one of the best methods to elevate our confidence level and learning power. This criterion is already
present in offline classes in the form of group work, assignments, projects etc. The backdrop of it is the inability to engage
with a large group of students is not possible. In case of technology implemented classrooms, the students can have a vast
group of students to engage in same projects and find their own results easily. This will also enable them to communicate
without any fear. The rural area students at this condition will be the great beneficiaries. They can engage or collaborate
with other students and take part in different activities to elevate their learning possibilities. This method will also
ameliorate the teaching methods. They can be relaxed and concentrated on their work without pressure. Hence, this
technical assistance will be a boon for students and teachers of rural areas.
2.3 Incorporation
This allows students to be included in the classroom in a way that is never heard or seen. Even the differently-
abled students can make use of this technical assistance for the betterment of their educational activities. Spelling
mistakes, grammatical errors, punctuations etc. are denoted when it is wrongly done by students in word processor. It is
impossible to outcast a student or learner who is keen in the knowledge of technology because it is becoming the
backbone of the world. Technology has the ability to enable the students have a better atmosphere to learn themselves
through a group activity using this medium. In case of students from rural area, they are getting chances to be motivated to
engage in learning process using this technological medium in education.
Methods Appropriate for the Use of Technology for The Educational Development of Rural Area
Students.
World’s future is destined to the coming generations. They are the ones who build the nation. The children are
always the future of any country, so it is essential to provide them resources that is needed to realize their potential. A
modernized educational system has the ability to bring different possibilities for the recent development and future. To
attain a better educational possibility certain condition, have to be followed which includes detecting outdated teaching
methods, lack of qualified and efficient teachers, inadequate teaching and learning resources and finally have to improve
the imbalanced student teacher ratio. This condition will definitely erase a large number of problems from the educational
system. Rural area students are handling lots of issues concerning about their geographical location, lack of resources and
opportunities etc. There is a large dropout ratio of students from rural areas in education. This is one of the major reasons
concerning the educational system of rural as well as tribal areas. The people of rustic zones consider themselves as
inappropriate to utilize the materials or resources of enlightenment. Use of technology in such regions helps to bring
development in all sector more significantly in educational field mitigate the major concerns.
Digital tools like smart phones, laptop, LCD screens, videos etc. enables the students to be more encouraged
towards learning. Rural zone teachers also face certain encounters which include lack of exposure to technology,
inadequate training in digital tools and trepidation of new modes of teaching. Hence, it is essential to provide teachers
with appropriate technical training. Lack of inefficient staffs is a major problem in educational field. Therefore, technical
skill learning programs have to be initiated by non-governmental organisations and corporate social responsibility
departments even put forward by governments.
Conclusion
Technology is that something which provides one all sources of knowledge and information. Information
communication and technology is the field that has recently become more to explicitly expand the term to include
electronic communications. Technology obviously helps individual to become diligent and improve their career prospects.
Technology has definitely paved a very significant role in the development of people. Support for establishing technical
organizations and increasing the importance of national technical education is essential. Rural area development can also
be done using the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). By establishing technology in rural areas, village
families get ample access to innovative and up-to-date not only information and communication technologies but also
education and communication technologies. Education is an essential factor that makes all individuals powerful and wise.
Hence, utilizing all sources of methods suited for developing knowledge and improving the quality of education has to be

accepted. The major motive behind this article is to provide a helping hand to the rural area students as well as to prove
the efficiency of the ICT in the field of education. In rural areas, students may feel abandoned while comparing with urban
and semiurban area students’ abilities and facilities. Hence, the students of rural area also have to get the opportunities
similar to that of urban and developed area students and it can be made possible only by the use of technology in the
education. Intervention of technology into all sector has developed all sectors. No partiality or in accuracy have to be done
in the case of student’s education. All higher authorities or government officials have to take care of the facilities and
lacking factors of rural area students to mitigate their limitations and be confident at their knowledge. Therefore, this
article tries to interpret the major possibilities, merits and demerits of technology in education of students in remote
areas.

India. 2Principal, Geetha Jeevan Arts and Science College, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India. --------------------------------------------------------------------------***----------------------------------------------------------------------- Abstract Knowledge is infinite with power that makes each individual independent and confident. Wisdom is the only resource that makes every person equal and eligible in this competitive world. Technology is probably one of the most powerful factors shaping the educational environment today. Many schools support the improvement of classroom technology by providing technical assistance such as tablets and computers, improving their internet connectivity, and implementing new plans to improve the technical skills of teachers and students. Although teachers usually escalate the benefits of educational technology, they often find it difficult to integrate new-fangled educational technologies smoothly and effectively. After the acquisition of new technical equipment to the adaptation of curriculum and educational technology to incorporate new didactic tools, technological incorporation poses significant challenges to all level educators in the educational system. The aim of this article is to outline the common challenges educators face while trying to bring technology into the classroom and to provide possible solutions to the existing difficulties. The article has focused on the rustic zone people who always get neglected from the advancement and new structures of educational techniques. The development based on the training provided to the teachers on the new methods as well as the implementation of technological assistance in rural zone classrooms. Therefore, this article has an aim on the productive aspect upon the betterment of educational sector. Both teachers and learners have to be considered and trained for educational upliftment. Innovative ways of doing works using technical gadgets at very smart means have to be adapted. Keywords - Technology, Challenges, Benefits in Education, Advancement in Classrooms, Students of Rustic Zones, Teaching and Learning. Introduction The technology always brings about essential organizational changes that can contribute to substantial productivity gains. This technology is used to support both education and erudition, equipping classrooms with digital learning tools such as computers and handheld devices. It helps to develop experiences, access to learning materials and expand the course offerings. Building skills for the development of learning and teaching method using technology as it enables to increase both students and teachers’ involvement as well as motivation. Technology has the power to make teaching an effortless process through the introduction of its various models of teaching methods. It permits connection between both teachers and students with specialized content; resources and structures to aid students to improve education and to enable them personalized learning. Technology has influenced many aspects of life and plays an important role in the development of each and every person’s life. It permits people to automate multiple manual tasks and to execute easily as well as efficiently more complicated processes. The introduction of technology has made teachers to easily convey knowledge to students to make them acquire it. The use of modern device technology and tools, improve student learning and interactivity. This article gives an in-depth resource about the challenges and problems faced by students as well as teachers in rural areas in integrating technology into education and learning. One of the major factors that intrude the use of technology in educational sector is the budget limitation or the inability to afford technical tools and devices. Budgets’ cuts and constraints are the biggest limiting factors in teachers and managers efforts to provide educational technology to students. This is the major hurdle that advocates of educational technology have to overcome in order to efficaciously introduce technology into the classroom. According to a recent survey, 75% of people identified budget constraints as the biggest obstacle to the use of educational technology. International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET) e-ISSN: 2395-0056 Volume: 09 Issue: 05 | May 2022 www.irjet.net p-ISSN: 2395-0072 © 2022, IRJET | Impact Factor value: 7.529 | ISO 9001:2008 Certified Journal | Page 2458 technology tools for education are not cheap, so it is especially difficult to overcome budget constraints. Using tools which are expensive cannot be affordable by the school authorities. Tools like Google cloud are powerful educational tools, but schools need to make Chromebooks available to students because to the ease with which they can be adopted. Training sessions fund teachers who cannot handle tight budgets. Budget is a major issue in the case of rural area schools when compared to others. Daily routines and normal classroom cases are sometimes unaffordable for them. In such cases, some funding measures from government or any other authorities for the well and embellished form of learning atmosphere are to be ensured. 1.2 Inefficiency in Vocational Training Advanced and more established form of techniques using technology has been developed day by day. Teachers have to get the knowledge about each new technique as well as tools in order to train the students and for their exceptional proficiency in their teaching career. Classrooms are unlikely to be upgraded with shiny new tools that neither teachers nor students can use to influence their children’s educational experience, and it is frustrating and time consuming for busy teachers to train themselves with these new instructional methods along with advanced devices or tools. Professional training for teachers and faculty can be time consuming and expensive, but it is significant if students are expected to benefit from their technical experience as well as assistance. Sudden impulse towards teachers to be progressive in technical platform is not practical. The teachers have to be given time and support to make themselves familiar with such devices. To an extent, it is essential for teachers to be trained about technical availability present in the society with regard to the field of education. This provides a beautiful dawn in the picture of educational sector forever. In case of rural area students and teachers, it is an essential factor that cannot be avoided at any cost. The students and teachers have to be well equipped and familiarized with this kind of tools for the betterment their educational structures. 1.3 Connectivity If a school that does not have the network infrastructure provided with new technical tools, it will not have any positive effect for students. Network connectivity and high-quality WIFI connections are being offered almost in all areas by different companies. Schools as well as colleges have to be maintained with good network connection for the teaching process as well as for the administrative purposes over there. Network connection is not just for the educational purposes but also for the data protection and security, access to digital resources, to reduce the time consuming and finally to get a great reach in world about the particular institution or subject. Molding a new design, structure and a strong network infrastructure is necessary for the effective, responsible, and ongoing use of technology in education and have to be completed with great attention and foresight. In case of rural areas, connectivity issue is a big deal due to their geographical conditions and unavailability of network connections. Such cases have to be discussed and repaired by the higher authorities. They are not the exceptional ones who are to be avoided due to certain lack of properties and potentiality. The barriers they have to face is thrice higher than the normal ones. 2. Benefits of Technology in Educational Field Nowadays students from lower class level to higher grew up in an atmosphere surrounded by technology. This generation kids even do not know what it would be like to experience life without mobiles, computers, TV and other technical equipment’s. In spite of being familiar with technology the incorporation of it into classroom has to be examined thousand times for them. Technology has the power to make education easier and more equitable. At several schools, the administrations have inaugurated the use of technical devices like projectors and other handheld devices for the development of educational activities. They secure money from the grants and donations from communities and business partners for the development of educational technology in classrooms. Both teachers and students will get profited from technical assistance in the educational process. Some of the benefits are the following: 2.1 Active participation Students who use technology in classrooms are always engaged and active because they do not feel bored. Allowing students to have a device of their own at a ratio of 1:1 then it creates a new initiative where the teachers can interact and take care of each student. The use of interactive software and other models under technological version can enable students to be more engaging and to listen lectures digitally. This program can also make use of many opportunities like making use of games and other such applications for the active participation of students as well as teachers to have more urge to adapt these designs. In case of rural areas, such devices and use of them are not prohibited but lack of it is the
  • 3. International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET) e-ISSN: 2395-0056 Volume: 09 Issue: 05 | May 2022 www.irjet.net p-ISSN: 2395-0072 © 2022, IRJET | Impact Factor value: 7.529 | ISO 9001:2008 Certified Journal | Page 2459 problem. They have to be ready with devices to make students familiar and active during such learning and teaching conditions. 2.2 Teamwork and Collaboration Team work is one of the best methods to elevate our confidence level and learning power. This criterion is already present in offline classes in the form of group work, assignments, projects etc. The backdrop of it is the inability to engage with a large group of students is not possible. In case of technology implemented classrooms, the students can have a vast group of students to engage in same projects and find their own results easily. This will also enable them to communicate without any fear. The rural area students at this condition will be the great beneficiaries. They can engage or collaborate with other students and take part in different activities to elevate their learning possibilities. This method will also ameliorate the teaching methods. They can be relaxed and concentrated on their work without pressure. Hence, this technical assistance will be a boon for students and teachers of rural areas. 2.3 Incorporation This allows students to be included in the classroom in a way that is never heard or seen. Even the differently- abled students can make use of this technical assistance for the betterment of their educational activities. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, punctuations etc. are denoted when it is wrongly done by students in word processor. It is impossible to outcast a student or learner who is keen in the knowledge of technology because it is becoming the backbone of the world. Technology has the ability to enable the students have a better atmosphere to learn themselves through a group activity using this medium. In case of students from rural area, they are getting chances to be motivated to engage in learning process using this technological medium in education. Methods Appropriate for the Use of Technology for The Educational Development of Rural Area Students. World’s future is destined to the coming generations. They are the ones who build the nation. The children are always the future of any country, so it is essential to provide them resources that is needed to realize their potential. A modernized educational system has the ability to bring different possibilities for the recent development and future. To attain a better educational possibility certain condition, have to be followed which includes detecting outdated teaching methods, lack of qualified and efficient teachers, inadequate teaching and learning resources and finally have to improve the imbalanced student teacher ratio. This condition will definitely erase a large number of problems from the educational system. Rural area students are handling lots of issues concerning about their geographical location, lack of resources and opportunities etc. There is a large dropout ratio of students from rural areas in education. This is one of the major reasons concerning the educational system of rural as well as tribal areas. The people of rustic zones consider themselves as inappropriate to utilize the materials or resources of enlightenment. Use of technology in such regions helps to bring development in all sector more significantly in educational field mitigate the major concerns. Digital tools like smart phones, laptop, LCD screens, videos etc. enables the students to be more encouraged towards learning. Rural zone teachers also face certain encounters which include lack of exposure to technology, inadequate training in digital tools and trepidation of new modes of teaching. Hence, it is essential to provide teachers with appropriate technical training. Lack of inefficient staffs is a major problem in educational field. Therefore, technical skill learning programs have to be initiated by non-governmental organisations and corporate social responsibility departments even put forward by governments. Conclusion Technology is that something which provides one all sources of knowledge and information. Information communication and technology is the field that has recently become more to explicitly expand the term to include electronic communications. Technology obviously helps individual to become diligent and improve their career prospects. Technology has definitely paved a very significant role in the development of people. Support for establishing technical organizations and increasing the importance of national technical education is essential. Rural area development can also be done using the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). By establishing technology in rural areas, village families get ample access to innovative and up-to-date not only information and communication technologies but also education and communication technologies. Education is an essential factor that makes all individuals powerful and wise. Hence, utilizing all sources of methods suited for developing knowledge and improving the quality of education has to be

The major motive behind this article is to provide a helping hand to the rural area students as well as to prove the efficiency of the ICT in the field of education. In rural areas, students may feel abandoned while comparing with urban and semiurban area students’ abilities and facilities. Hence, the students of rural area also have to get the opportunities similar to that of urban and developed area students and it can be made possible only by the use of technology in the education. Intervention of technology into all sector has developed all sectors. No partiality or in accuracy have to be done in the case of student’s education. All higher authorities or government officials have to take care of the facilities and lacking factors of rural area students to mitigate their limitations and be confident at their knowledge.
