The song chosen for the music video is "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys. It received the most votes in a survey and the singer's unique voice will identify the band even if the song is unknown. The video will take influences from other narrative/live performance videos and feature good camera angles and shots. The performers will be represented in a conventional, modern indie rock style through their actions, setting, and stylish but casual clothing. The target audience is 15-25 year olds who will be reached through social media platforms. The concept portrays the band performing at a party as a boy and girl meet and enjoy themselves on the dance floor.

2. THE SONG/ARTIST. WHY CHOOSE THEM?
I had trouble choosing a song so I narrowed it down to eight songs that were at a
good length for me to make a video for and then I used surveymonkey to
help me decide which one. The eight songs that I had to consider from were:
The song that I eventually chose is I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor by
Artic Monkeys. It had the most votes for on survey monkey and also I
thought that it would be quite easy for me to create a video for as I can easily
illustrate the name of the song. Also Artic Monkeys are a very popular
band, people may not know this particular song but the voice of the singer
will give away who the artist is as he has a very original voice.

3. YOUR INFLUENCES
The influences for my video are other videos such as John Newman – Love
Me Again and Frank Turner – Photosynthesis, where there is a narrative
but also a live performance
Also videos such as Slipknot – Before I Forget, Pendulum –
Watercolour, The Kooks – Always Where I Need To Be and Dani
California as they have great example angles and shots

4. HOW DO YOU INTEND TO REPRESENT YOUR
PERFORMERS?
I want to represent my performers in a conventional indie-rock way.
And as a young and modern band. I intend to do this by the
actions they make during the video, the mise-en-scene, and
they way that they are dressed. I will dress them to look
typically indie by wearing clothes such as a graphic print t-shirt
or a patterned shirt, skinny jeans or chinos.

5. WHO ARE YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE? HOW WILL
YOU ATTRACT/ADDRESS THEM?
My target audience is young people, male and female. An age
range of about 15-25. I will reach the target audience through
social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter and
YouTube as these are the main social networking sites that
people use.

6. WHAT IS THE CONCEPT?
The concept of the video is the band performing at a party. There
will be a narrative of a boy and a girl meeting at this party going
out on to the dance floor and having a good time. The
performance will be on a stage, with low lighting around them
so that they are in the focus of the frame. The performance will
be live on stage but I will not film them at the same time I will do
the party and performance at different times.
