INTRODUCTION
• Traffic Lights have become an integer part of human’s day-to-day
life.
• With this motivation in the mind, this project aims at designing
and implementing, a running model of traffic light controller
which is controlled according to the density of vehicle on road.
• We will use AT89s52 microcontroller and infra red sensor for
performing all the computation and control related task.
SITUATION
Metropolitan police have lots of responsibilities including
controlling law and situation. The traffic control department
implement traffic signal system where the lights will be on or off.
If a lane has no vehicle the time for empty lane is wasted. The
traffic control department meeting with DIU. Then Diu assign
some good quality CSE engineers. And they solve the problem.
PROBLEM OVERVIEW
• 1. Traffic equilibrium for online traffic system.
• 2. Car parking issue.
• 3. Vehicle speedy problem.
PROPOSED IDEA
No 1 Solution :
By using drone to take a
snapshot and send to server.
Information comes from
Server to traffic controller
by GPS.
NO 2 SOLUTION:
Cannot park any car at any place.
If they park any car any
where they will be punished.
NO 3 SOLUTION:
Streaming on signboard to
control proper speed on road
Basis. To set an automatic road
Blocker.
GOALS OF INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
Traffic Management
• Enforcing traffic regulations
• Transportation planning support
• Adaptive traffic control
• Case investigation for police
Traveler information system
• Real-time road condition
1.Speed and congestion
2.Historical camera image and statistics
• Travel time information
1.Available to various terminals
2.Proactive travel plan
Commercial vehicle system management
• Commercial vehicle management, tracking, administration
Public security
• Video surveillance (remote video streaming and video searching)
OBJECTIVES
• 1. To review the current situation of traffic congestion in Dhaka
city.
• 2. To find the manage mental causes of traffic congestion in city.
• 3. To analyze the impact of traffic congestion in Dhaka city.
• 4. To recommend some solutions to reduce traffic congestion.
ESTIMATED BUDGET
Budget :
1. Fifty lakhs for traffic equilibrium for online traffic system .
2. Based on decoration car parking zone per half our budget for this
issue is 75 lakhs .
3. Set up speed breaker our budget to solution this issue is 1 core .
TIME LINE
1st iteration : ( 1 – 2 month )
2nd iteration : ( 3 – 6 month )
3rd iteration : ( 3– 4 month )
ADVANTAGE
• Ultra reliable, hardened platforms
• Utilizes readily available copper
• Extremely high mean time between failure (MTBF)
• Robust, hardened NEMA-3 equipment
• Stable, reliable high performance links
• Take more than enough bandwidth precisely where needed
FUTURE PLAN
The focus shall be to implement the controller using DSP as it can avoid
heavy investment in industrial control computer while obtaining
improved computational power and optimized system structure. The
hardware implementation would enable the project to be used in real-
time practical conditions. In addition, we propose a system to identify
the vehicles as they pass by, giving preference to emergency vehicles
and assisting in surveillance on a large scale.
CONCLUSION
Traffic control system for
• Monitoring
• Control of intercity traffic
Prototype testing
• Accurate results
Real time testing
• Satisfactory results
• Morphological operators need control
• Need of restoration techniques
