Miquel's Triangle Theorem states that if points a, b, and c are chosen on the sides of triangle ABC, the circles defined by bAc, cBa, and aCb will intersect at a common point. If a, b, and c are collinear, this point of intersection will lie on the circle defined by triangle ABC. The point of intersection is known as the 'Miquel Point'.

SHARIGUIN PROBLEMS IN PLANE GEOMETRY
This volume contains over 600 problems in plane geometry and consists of two parts. The first part contains rather simple problems to be solved in classes and at home. The second part also contains hints and detailed solutions. Over 200 new problems have been added to the 1982 edition, the simpler problems in the first addition having been eliminated, and a number of new sections- (circles and tangents, polygons, combinations of figures, etc.) having been introduced, The general structure of the book has been changed somewhat to
accord with the new, more detailed, classification of the problems. As a result, all the problems in this volume have been rearranged.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

1. THEOREM OF THE DAY
Miquel’s Triangle Theorem Let A, B and C be the vertices of a triangle and a, b and c be points chosen
on sides CB, AC and AB, respectively. Then the circles defined by bAc, cBa and aCb have a common
point of intersection. Moreover, if a, b and c are chosen to be collinear then this point lies on the circle
defined by A, B and C.
The above picture shows Miquel’s Theorem in action. Changing the size or shape of triangle ABC, or moving any of the side points a, b or
c, will move but not destroy the point of intersection of the three red circles. The magenta triangle abc reduces to a line when its vertices are
collinear, as on the right, and at this point we find the red circles intersect in a point on the green circle on ABC.
Auguste Miquel was a French mathematician active in the mid-nineteenth century. The point of intersection of the circles in
this theorem is known as the ‘Miquel Point’.
