E-Health Prevention Program
In 2014, a study was published to determine the effectiveness of a prevention program that would
reduce the risk of chronic diseases. As stated in the study, according to the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention, one out of 10 Americans is living with a form of chronic illness. These chronic
diseases are a result of modifiable health risk behaviors such as sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition,
alcoholism, and use of tobacco. If these risk factors were transformed into healthy behaviors, it would
eliminate at least 80% of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes and 40% of all cancer which are the
leading causes of death in the United States. The study was composed of a population of employees
who attended an annual Benefits ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, those who received basic e health messages had higher rates of goal obtainment than
those who received the more detailed messages. The researcher s results showed that after 38 weeks
anyone could reach their goal. However, the study lacked in showing examples of what some of these
goals was. For example, was one of the participants goals to lose 50 pounds or to limit the amount of
time they watched the television. Their goals could have been categorized in different areas of the
World Health s Organizations seven dimensions of wellness. If the study was determining weight loss
as a goal, it did not tell us if there were healthy individuals or obese individuals. For example, if it was
someone s goal to keep off 5 pounds and they were a healthy individual, it would make sense for them
to be unmotivated in receiving e health emails and being in the maintenance stage of the being of the
study. The study does not give a proper representation of the sample of the population. Earlier in the
study, it was stated that many employers have not incorporated health wellness programs in their
organization because of lack of participation and lack of high risk employee participation. If this is
true, the reason for such low attendance at the Annual Benefits Fair because employees in these two
groups did not come. If the researchers of this study wanted to improve their study, they

Technology and E commerce in Perspective
 First, the Internet and Web are just two of a long list of technologies, such as automobiles and radio,
that have followed a similar historical path:
Creation of business models designed to leverage the technology and explosive early growth, followed
by retrenchment and then a long term successful exploitation of the technology by larger established

Lack of Communication
Lack of Communication in a relationship
Composition II 54
7/23/2010
Tiffany Augustin
There are two crucial elements in effective communication: relaying a message and receiving a
message. It is just as important to communicate the message as it is to ensure the proper message is
received. Effective communication is vital to personal and business success. Often, companies provide
employee training on how to communicate effectively. This essay focuses on listening and receiving
the message the other person is trying to communicate.
Because we don t communicate well with each other the effects can cause a divorce. Causes that led to
divorce can be numerous. But, some of the most common reasons responsible for divorce are ... Show

(http://health.howstuffworks.com/relationships/advice/communication skills for lifelong

relationship. For example, let s say it s Friday afternoon and you are planning on heading out to Regal
to catch a movie with your boyfriend. So you stop by his place and suggest a couple of movies you
wanted to see, when he informs you that his best friend from high school is driving into Slippery Rock
tonight to hang out with him. You, being the girl, are completely crushed. You try to act like it doesn t
bother you, but on the inside you are so upset and hurt that he didn t tell you about this before. You
figure he has known for at least a couple of days. So why didn t he tell you? Then you begin to tell
yourself, I would never do this to him. I tell him almost everything. He must not care about me as
much as I care about him. Come on, every girl has had this thought at least once in their lifetime.
Most girls think this way because of the fact that they grew up in a world of intimacy. Likewise, most

The Two Anthills
In a land far far away there were two anthills. Only two in the land. The anthills were not aware of
their existence. In one anthill brimming with collected resources and a fair queen lived the Opie ants.
In the other there were corrupted a corrupted queen who made the ants work until their death to satisfy
her. Those were the Totie ants. Some of the Totie ants were good and hardworking but some turned
evil just like the queen. The Totie ants and the Opie ants had the same anthills but different leader. The
Opies had an abundance of food; whereas the Totie ants were starving because the queen only looked
after her own well being and ate all the food. The Totie ants were miserable with their leaders and

The Totie ant raised the amount of food Totie ands had to bring. Eventually, and ant called Roscoe
who was a Totie got tired and decided to venture outside of his anthill to try and find another place
where he could live a better life. Over mountains, through valleys Roscoe ventured, with supplies in
his pack on his back. Eventually, he came upon the Opie ants and he saw how they had a fair queen
and a better life than the one he had back home. Roscoe begged to be allowed to join them and to be
able to be part of this anthill and they said yes but he had to do things. He had to learn the history of
the Opie ants and be willing to abide by their rules. He did this and became part of their anthill. He
worked and lived their for two years before he went back to the Totie anthill. He was finally reunited
with his family that he had left two years ago. He told them about this new land

Man Is Not An Individual
Man is not an individual. He is a social organism. God loves him only who serves other beings man,
cattle and other creatures. His glory lies in being a member of a big family. On the one hand, man is
bound by blood kinship his parents, his wife , his children and on the other , he is linked with every
individual of society whether near or far from his, it is given to man to link himself with those who
constitute his ancestry and also think of those who would be his posterity. Man possessed of certain
inalienable rights. Thus lives, works and dies for society. Man is expected to develop his craft, science
and technology and lead society from poverty to prosperity with a happy today and a happier
tomorrow.
Crime is inevitable in human society. No doubt , we have progressed a lot in every sphere of life and
struggle to achieve immortality is going on, but yet in this journey from animal way of life to the
human way of life, still we are haunted by the thought of animal instincts. Every where some human
beings have fallen outside the pattern of permitted conduct. It is best to fact that crime cannot be
abolished except in a non existence utopia. Commenting on this aspect Durkherim in his treatise a
crime as a normal phenomenon says, a society composed of persons with angelic qualities would not
be free from violation of the norms of that society . In fact, crime is a constant phenomenon changing
with the social change.

Essay On Ramayana
In the history of Indian and Sanskrit writing, Ramayana shines bright. Ramayana mirrors the Indian
society and in addition the perfect quality within human instinct. Our customary Ramayana begins
with the visit of Narada to Valmiki s ashrama and describes him about Rama and his trip. Through
Valmiki, we came to think about Rama the avatar of God and his life as a human.
A unique rendition of Ramayana was composed by Valmiki. It is likewise adjusted by various scholars
in numerous dialects and interpreted as well. Valmiki Ramayana comprises of 24,000 verses in seven
books Bala Kanda , which portrays the birth and adolescence of Rama, born to lord Dasharatha of

But she closed her mouth and properly saw him....Probably she realized that Lakshmana could not
exist without Rama and that there was no point in stopping him.... ( Lakhmana and Urmila 19).
The idea of Pativrata can be outlined through the qualities of Urmila. From the narrative of Ramayana,
it is trusted that Urmila s wretchedness was even worse than Sita being far from her significant other
for a long time. Lakshmana was just obliged to care for his sibling. With a specific end goal to satisfy
his caring rights, he went with Rama, leaving Urmila for quite a while of fourteen years. Still she was
simply complying with her significant other as a committed spouse.
At the point when Sita went into outcast alongside Rama, confronted incalculable hardships, needed to

significant other, master Rama, and had unending assistance from her brother by marriage, Lakshmana
served Sita as his mother.

Lee Harvey Oswald Chapter 1 Rhetorical Analysis
In this short passage about the fictional youth of Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who assassinated John
F. Kennedy, we are given a snapshot of Oswald s everyday life as a seventh grader. The setting is the
Bronx, New York, at a time before technology and immigration were prevalent in our everyday lives.
In the passage, the author skillfully portrays young Oswald as an introverted and edgy individual
though the use of imagery, diction and point of view. Through vivid descriptions of his everyday
happenings as well as the people involved, we get insight into Oswald s personality. As an adolescent,
Oswald has his desires just like any other male his age, as he observes the Jewish girls, Italian girls in
tight skirts (3 4). His treatment plays a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With the choice of three other types of point of views to write in, the choice of third person limited
omniscient is an excellent choice in terms of narrative. Instead of getting a biased look through the
lens of Oswald or his peers, the objectivity of the third person point of view gives a more objective
study on Oswald s character. By being presented a brief third person overview describing the actions
of the surrounding characters, the reader comes to the conclusion that the Bronx is a place filled with
the stereotypical type of New York inhabitants it is known for harboring. Likewise, we also see that
Oswald is a somewhat normal child who has his own problems and quirks until we are introduced to
his personal obsessions. Instead of getting a glimpse of his inner thoughts, his feelings are instead
revealed during his fun time. Humans can feel the same way, but rarely ever think the same way. So
with the audience being able to relate to the feeling of thrill (48) but not the action of being on the
edge (46 47), the audience themselves come to the conclusion that Oswald is an odd individual. This
contributes to the objectivity of the author s character study due to the fact that the author doesn t take
the easy way and spell everything out for the audience by using first person view, but instead decides
to use third person

Revulsion In Tod Browning s Freaks
With figurative eye of newt and toe of frog, Tod Browning s Freaks stirs a grotesque, boiling caldron
of Terror, Horror, and Revulsion within the viewer. Perpetually flinging itself between these three
genres of fear, in an artful dance of death, Browning splices, mutates, and combines images to create a
Frankenstein s Monster of conjoined dread and trepidation.
Freaks is not a documentary and does not try to resolve or rectify the dilemma between Good and
Evil, Humans and Monsters; or Us vs. Them; and certainly it is not a film promoting Freaks, they re
just like us! Instead, I believe, Browning s intention is to purposely churn a disturbing witches brew of

Essay on Authority and American Usage, by David Foster...
David Foster Wallace, author of the essay Authority and American Usage*, praises and advocates for
good writers who have a strong rhetorical ability, which he defines as the persuasive use of language
to influence the thoughts and actions of an audience (Wallace 628). To have a strong rhetorical ability,
an author needs to be aware of whom their audience is, in order to present their information in a way
that will be influential on their audience. Wallace recognizes that an author who applies a strong
rhetorical ability will be able to connect with the audience so that they respond not just to [their]
utterance but also to [them] (Wallace 641). An author needs to take into consideration not just content,

There, glaring up at me in bold, red ink against the crisp white paper was a C . Comparing my grades
to those of my classmates, it was revealed that they too had received these grades. What had we done
wrong?
Our teacher, Mrs. Hetrick, provided the answer to our question: These essays could have easily been
generated by a computer program. They tell me nothing about yourselves; why in the world you are
telling me all of this? You need to make me care about the message you are conveying, otherwise,
your writing is useless. She then told us that while we were all communicating in the proper format,
we had failed to take into consideration whom our audience was. In order to truly persuade and
influence our audience, we had to do more than place complicated ideas into a grammatically
immaculate sentences; we need to show the audience why they should care about our writing;
otherwise, they will just lose interest. I realize now that this experience provided a stable foundation
for what I consider to be an example of passionate rhetorical ability, which helps me reflect on what
authors Wallace deems as good through their rhetorical strategies.
Wallace distinguishes the Democratic Spirit in the writing of Bryan A. Garner, author of A Dictionary
of Modern American Usage (ADMAU). Wallace identifies a Democratic Sprit, as one that combines
rigor and humility, i.e, passionate conviction plus a sedulous respect for the

Analysis Of The Eyes Of Regan And Singer
The book Ishmael is about how a telepathic gorilla teaches cynical writer how to prevent the world
from destruction. Daniel Quinn chooses to use a telepathic gorilla to demonstrate the link between
nature and human kind. The need for this link is due to the separation of humans and nature caused by
human kind. The main idea of Ismael s philosophy is humans have taken our lives out the natural
order and laws. Humans have been destroying themselves for years, and the only way to survive is to
be connected one with nature. Individualism, in the eyes of Regan and Singer, is with each individual
being be treated with equality. Ishmael believes that each being should be apart of a community.

The animal rights movement and the progression, is because of individualists, and the work they have
done is worthy in it s own right. Singer and Regan will be used to demonstrate the ideals of
Environmental Individualism.
Regan introduces his stance in The Case for Animal Rights on how we view non humans as less than
the intrinsic value. Regan s mentality is about how we have this sense of value for each other, and how
we should translate that respect and value to others, like animals. We treat immoral humans
(criminals) with basic human respect (food, shelter, and hygiene). While, there are some people that
do not take care of animals with the same respect as we treat humans. Animals are a part of the world
that we live in, but we have grown used to seeing animals as lower than us. Regan s viewpoint shows
how we should see all beings as equals with inherent value. Regan sees this as part of the Respect
Principle, a principle where we treat individuals who have inherent value in ways that respect their
inherent value (322). His main argument is that everything has a subject of life criterion. Subject of
life criterion is the philosophy that everything is alive with inherent value.
Due to every individual, human and non human, being alive with inherent value, Regan has a stance
against hunting for sport, and uses his idea of the rights view to battle against it. The rights view is the
policies that lessen the total amount of

areas for that the kids of today s society do not fall into the trap of gang violence. Gang violence in
Chicago is caused by poverty in inner cities, climate change, and how gang members do not respect
authorities. This problem can be fixed by investing more money into these urban areas, focusing in
cities during warm months, and by government building positive relationships with the citizens.

Dyslexia Teaching
Understanding Dyslexia: Defining, Identifying, and Teaching Research suggests that while there is no
cure for Dyslexia, students can adapt through multi sensory instruction and become successful
members of society (Allen, 2010). In order to instruct students with dyslexia, it is crucial that
educators understand what dyslexia is, what causes it, and the steps to identifying a student who
struggles with reading and shows signs of dyslexia (Allen, 2010). According to Allen (2010), of those
who have identified as having a learning disability, 80% are affected by a reading disability.
According to Dejerine, Dyslexia is suspected to be neurobiological in origin. This is confirmed by

After their struggles are recognized, good teaching will allow them to perform to the best of their
ability (MacKay, 1997). In order to make students with dyslexia feel more comfortable about reading
there are a few steps to follow. While telling students to read a book and then write a paper on it may
seem like basic instructions, to a student with dyslexia that could seem like a nightmare. MacKay
presents a few steps to follow when reading which include: title, captions, pictures, questions, and
reading. This is very beneficial to a student with dyslexia because his/her brain needs tasks to be
broken down otherwise they will feel like they are out of memory (MacKay, 1997). There are many
organizational tools that are helpful when reading or categorizing information. Brainstorming is a
great tool because no organization is required, it is simply just putting thoughts on paper (MacKay,
1997). When timing is appropriate to organize the information mind maps would be beneficial. Mind
maps are a way to put your ideas together and sort information into paragraphs in order to compile a
paper (MacKay, 1997). For those who do not prefer mind maps another option would be using linear
notes. Linear notes simply means leaving room in the margin for the student to write down facts
he/she feels important (MacKay, 1997). MacKay elaborates that teaching dyslexic students study
skills proves that thinking and reasoning skills can shine even though their basic skills may be a

John Wesley Principle
In the doctrine of John Wesley, one discovers a new objective; distinctive from Wesley s interpretation
of human depravity based upon the Reformed perception of sin, and the requirement of divine grace
for salvation. He distinguished himself from the activists and brought out the doctrine of prevenient
grace into his construction of the doctrine of redemption. Wesley abandoned the theory of election,
electing the concept of conditional election. Consequently, he fused the teaching of the total sinfulness
of a person and the importance of grace with the emphasis on human liberation, giving birth to his
doctrine of sanctification.
His aspect of sanctification derives from an operation of becoming more like Jesus in disposition and
reference. God s desire for our sanctification as a desire for love to become the constant ruling temper
of our soul. It is a process of cleansing humanity from sin. This made it possible for a person to enjoy
communion with the Father and abide in his presence. He believed genuine Christian maturity was
evidenced by actions lies behind his identification of love as the sum of Christian sanctification.
Wesley emphasized the importance of justification, and the confidence of salvation is grounded in the
righteousness of Christ. He considers the progression of sanctification as one of making the person
admirable of salvation. I am first to inquire wherein that circumcision of the heart consists which will
receive the praise of God. This

Social Responsibilities And Moral Character Of Business
Social Responsibilities and Moral Character of Business
Milton Friedman was a 20th century American economist who advocated free market capitalism. In
1970 he submitted an editorial article entitled The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase its
Profits to the New York Times. In the article, Friedman argues that in free market systems it is
nonsensical to make corporate entities adhere to social responsibilities of business pushed by activists,
as corporations are artificial in nature, and thus do not have any social responsibilities other than to
make money for the shareholders of the company. I will argue against this paper and support the claim
corporations do in fact have moral and ethical obligations to more than just their shareholders, and that
many individuals have their stakes and livelihoods embedded within the acts of corporations. As well,
the idea in the article that corporations are not moral agents has led to unsavory violations of human
rights across the world, failing Kant s second formulation of the Categorical Imperative, as well as not
satisfying Act Utilitarianism. Thus, corporations, and individuals within those corporations, possess
considerable ability to make ethical decisions that have great impact to many people, culminating in
the truth that corporations have moral status. Friedman often surrounds ideas that he feels are
nonsensical with quotation marks in order to make the ideas seem out of touch with any sort of

Abstract
Writing has always been regarded as playing a prominent role in learning a second language. The
purpose of this research was to investigate the difficulties and challenges facing students in writing
and spelling, the factors causing these difficulties and how to overcome these challenges.
A total of 30 female students from three different female secondary schools in the Al Kharj city
participated in the study, and 6 teachers teaching the English language for secondary levels with
different teaching experiences. Questionnaires were used to gather information from the participants.
The overall results demonstrated the students negative views towards writing. The findings revealed
that students have problems in writing, especially in language use (grammar). The major findings
demonstrated students awareness of the importance of writing and their needs to develop the skill of
writing. The study suggests some practical methods in order to cope with writing difficulties.

Youth Sports Negatives
As kids grow up you will notice that their parents are not quite sure what kind of sport they want to
sign them up for, so they enroll them in all of them hoping that their child will find a sport that they
will continue throughout their life. Kids usually range in sports such as basketball, football, baseball,
softball, soccer, dance, and gymnastics. With every youth sport organization comes the negatives and
the positives. The negative aspects are that parents can be hard on their children, and receiving a
participation trophy or ribbon even though they lost. The positives being that they can begin healthy
lifestyles by participating in youth sports. Physically they get the required exercise they need, and will
eventually continue that throughout their life. Emotionally, they leave youth sports will a sense of
accomplishment, and being seen by college coaches to help boost their self esteem.
Parents will generally take the coaching position when their kid plays an organized sport which can
potentially be a bad thing. For example, my dad thought he needed to coach me in every sport I played
until I told him he needed to be a spectator instead. After a while you will notice these parents become
very competitive in games that do not really matter to the kids playing because they are just happy to
be there. This can cause problems because when the kid of the coach will become mad at their kid,
and reprimand them for things the child might not even know that they are doing

The 1950s Rock N Roll Movement
Introduction
The 1950s rock n roll movement was rooted from a style of music created by black people and their
descendants (Scaruffi, 2005). The lives of Americans were changed, as the older generation looked
down upon this genre and life style, while the young generation fell in love with it ( America, 2008).
Artist of the 1950s played a huge roll in the ideas that influenced every aspect of it such as legends
Buddy Holly and Little Richard. From moral changes to political changes rock n roll arrived to
America ready to make an everlasting impact (Stewart, 2008). Although the decades have passed, and
the times have changed rock n roll holds a legacy that will forever impact the lives of people as a
whole.
Foundations Of Rock n Roll
After World War 2, the world was faced with a bipolar world of the two winners: the USSR and the
US (Scaruffi, 2005). The world was left with international bitterness and resentment and unlike other
wars, a war on ideology. The war changed almost every aspect of life, because ideologies and morals
began to shift and change. The post War era had brought along with it many new technologies such as
the boom of cars, computers and even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Rock n roll was not a specific genre but it led to many different genres and styles of music to be
created. Since rock n roll was founded on the basis of folk and blues many of the first artists were
black, but were given little credit at the time such as Little Richard, whose song Tutti Frutti was
covered by Pat Boone, and topped higher on music charts ( Music, 2004). The first rock n roll band
was formed (the Comets) by white artist Bill Haley in 1952, and they quickly began to climb
Billboard charts making the first rock n roll song to enter the Billboard charts (Scaruffi, 2005). The
Comets showed that rock n roll was an instant hit,and there was a big audience hungry to get more of
it (Scaruffi,

In today s society, it is evident individual s needs, wants, and behavior have quickly adapted and
evolved over the years, but so have business organizations. What once started in 1922, as a simple
creation to fulfill John A. Macdonald s promise to unite the new country of Canada by building a
transcontinental railway, has now transformed into what is recognized as the Canadian National
Railway Corporation, with a market cap of $55.9 billion just over 100 years later (Forbes). It is
important to understand CNR s key to success is based on several factors such as; maintaining and

M1 And M2
The rate of effusion of a gaseous substance is inversely proportional to the square root of its molar
mass. where:
Rate1 is the rate of effusion of the first gas (volume or number of moles per unit time).
Rate2 is the rate of effusion for the second gas.
M1 is the molar mass of gas 1
M2 is the molar mass of gas 2.
Graham s law states that the rate of diffusion or of effusion of a gas is inversely proportional to the
square root of its molecular weight. Thus, if the molecular weight of one gas is four times that of
another, it would diffuse through a porous plug or escape through a small pinhole in a vessel at half
the rate of the other (heavier gases diffuse more slowly). A complete theoretical explanation of
Graham s law was provided years

The Poem Give Thanks by Sandra Maria Esteves
A mother is the first touch, voice and sight a baby has when he or she is born. They rely on their
mother to provide them with a safe environment, food and comfort. Being a mother comes with great
responsibility and a life long job that the work gets harder every day. Although I myself am not a
mother, I have seen this job played out from my own mother who provides her children with a great
life. Some mothers are not ready for this job, yet selfishly still choose to keep their children because
they are too proud to allow someone else provide their baby with the life they deserve. Child
abandonment is a ever rising epidemic not only in The United States, but all around the world. Child
abandonment affects the mother, but more importantly, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A way a child could be abandoned is if the baby is left on a doorstep of a stranger or a church. Leaving
a child at a church is very common and they will eventually be reported to the police. From there the
child will most likely be brought to a foster home where they will further place the child with a family
who will protect and love the child like their own. The parent or the person legally in charge of taking
care of the child will be found and face serious criminal charges. The criminal charges would include
abandonment and endangering a child. The effects this abandonment has on a child are ever lasting
and may not go away with therapy or being adopted. According to the article The Neglect Of Child
Neglect: A Meta Analytic Review Of The Prevalence Of Neglect it states, Infancy is recognized as the
period between the second postnatal month and two years, previous to the mid childhood. In humans
the period is extremely sensitive to maternal investment mother dependence for survival, and is
characterized by rapid neural growth (Stoltenborgh, Bakermans Kranenburg, Ijzendoorn). The child
develops neurological damage due to being left by the person who was supposed to care and protect
them throughout their life. Sandra Maria Esteves shows what a healthy living condition for a child
should be like. She goes on to list the roles of a mother and the experiences a child gets to live through
while bonding with the mother. It is a

Advantages Of Fundamentals Of Database Management System
Fundamentals of Database Management Systems.
What is Database Management System?
Today, Database management systems play a main role in management, data transportation,
administrative and control systems. A database management system (DBMS) is system software for
creating, managing databases. A database management system creates a systematic way for programs,
apps and users to create, retrieve, delete, update and manage data. DBMS ensure that data is
consistently organized and remains easily accessible. As a normal person we access to database
management systems every day within our personal computers, mobile phones and various digital
devises for various purposes like play online games, find something, find a place. Today every
business, organization use a DBMS for store, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That is the very first DBMS. Then IBM created their own database system, called IMS. That creates
for NASA s APPOLO space shuttle program. These two systems are the navigational data bases.
These database systems are not easy to use. In 1970s EDGAR CODD thought of a way to make things
a bit easier. He wrote a paper A Relational Model of Data for Large Shared Data Banks. This concept
becomes relational DBMS.
Advantages of a DBMS
There are so many advantages of using DBMS. The biggest advantage is DBMS lets end users and
application programmers access and use the same data while managing data integrity. And data is
better maintained and protected. Data can be shared using a DBMS instead of creating new iterations
of the same data stored in new files for every new application. A central storage of data provides by a
DBMS that can be accessed by multiple users in same time in a controlled manner.
Central storage and management of data within the DBMS provides:
Data security. (DBMS provides high security. Anyone cannot access data without root s permission).
Data independence and abstraction.

Imagery in Macbeth
Imagery in Macbeth Violence and the bloodshed that results are important symbols in Shakespeare s
Macbeth. While the blood that is shed is a tangible reminder of the outcomes of misused power, it also
serves as an image that provokes Macbeth to reflect upon his deeds, even if he does not change his
behavior. Macbeth becomes obsessed with the blood on his hands. Unfortunately, this reminder of his
guilt does not prevent him from continuing violent acts.
Marshall Mc Luhan.
Macbeth, one of the most intriguing tragedies by Shakespeare, has an extensive use of imagery
throughout the play. References to blood and other abstract objects set the tone of various scenes in
the play to pace the action, to characterize the nature of death and ... Show more content on

All present question this bloody piece of work , and King Duncan s two sons decide that the Scottish
nation is no longer safe for them, as the murderer may now focus his attention on them. Hence, they
escape from Scotland, Malcolm goes to England, and Donaldbain seeks refuge in Ireland.
Post Banquo s murder, the references to blood increase even further, with quotes like, don t shake thy
gory locks at me becoming all the more common. The murderers, whom Macbeth had hired to kill
Banquo, describe his body lying in a ditch with twenty trenched gashes on his head . The imagery of
blood is shown in such a way that there is a profuse amount of blood flowing after every murder in the
play.
These references to blood observe their peak with Lady Macbeth s imagined blood and the battlefield
which form a crescendo to conglomerate all the murders performed in the play. Out damned spot. Out,
I say! One two! a passing reference is also made by the second apparition to Macbeth, be bloody, bold
and resolute . Because blood forms the prologue and epilogue of every murder in the play, it sets the
ball rolling for the wave of action in the play. The fact that blood imagery predominates in the play
gives the play a tinge of horror.
It will have blood, they say. Blood will have blood
However, blood is not the only abstract object referred to in the play. Passing references have been
made continuously at animals, plants and even garments. Look like

Reflection Paper On My Writing Process
Reflective Memo
Description of my Writing Process
In my writing process, pre writing was my initial step where I had to find the narrative to write. I had
numerous stories in my mind, but I had to get the best, which draws inspiration to me, and the one that
could teach valuable lessons to my audience. So, I had to refer from that childhood memory regarding
the most significant narrative. However, I had to build up on the story. Therefore, I had to use the
myth worksheet issued at class, to make sure that my story meets all the course requirements.
Apparently, I had to make some changes (revise) the narrative, to deliver the most intended life lesson
to my audience. That is when I decided to plan and structure on what to write down in particular.
The actual writing was my second step, where I had to start writing my draft. However, I had several
challenges at this phase, such as word count, grammar issues, among others. Apparently, I had to write
several rough copies of my narrative. Again, I had to get the best time and location to eliminate any
potential distractions. In fact, at this stage, I had no confidence with my narrative on whether it will
convey a relevant meaning to my audience.
But now the writing process was advancing well, and I started revising my paper. When revising my
narrative, I had to adapt A.R.R.R.R approach where, I had to add some words, rearrange my
paragraphs and sentences to consider flow, pacing, and sequencing of my story. Again, I had to
remove the irrelevant parts, considering whether the reader will acquire the required message. Finally,
replacing them with the relevant words and phrases.
My final step was editing and proofreading. At this phase, I had to check for clarity, grammar,
repetition, punctuation, and spelling. Editing and proofreading were detailed processes since they were
the last step in my writing process. At this moment, I had gained confidence in my paper, since I had
read it several times, affirming that it made some sense. Furthermore, I gave it to my friend who is a
professional to proofread, and he assured me that the paper was sensible.
Revising the Narrative
Apparently, I had to review my story to convey the message swiftly. In the initial story,

A Comparison Of The February And October Revolution
The February and October revolutions that arose in Russia in 1917 reveals how power can corrupt a
fragile system. Prior to these revolutions, Russia was under the reign of Czar Nicholas II, a leader,
who like future leaders betrayed and inflicted harm to his loyal supporters. Karl Marx first sparked
ideas of revolutions and communism, communism believes in a society where everything is equal and
done according to abilities and needs. The February revolution on February 23 was the start of
corruption in Russia, Supported by huge crowds of striking industrial workers, the protesters clashed
with police but refused to leave the streets (History.com Staff 2009). The revolution resulted in the
ousting of Czar Nicholas, the rise of the Bolsheviks

Regan s mentality is about how we have this sense of value for each other, and how we should translate that respect and value to others, like animals. His aspect of sanctification derives from an operation of becoming more like Jesus in disposition and reference. Social Responsibilities And Moral Character Of Business Social Responsibilities and Moral Character of Business Milton Friedman was a 20th century American economist who advocated free market capitalism. In 1970 he submitted an editorial article entitled The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase its Profits to the New York Times. In the article, Friedman argues that in free market systems it is nonsensical to make corporate entities adhere to social responsibilities of business pushed by activists, as corporations are artificial in nature, and thus do not have any social responsibilities other than to make money for the shareholders of the company. I will argue against this paper and support the claim corporations do in fact have moral and ethical obligations to more than just their shareholders, and that many individuals have their stakes and livelihoods embedded within the acts of corporations. As well, the idea in the article that corporations are not moral agents has led to unsavory violations of human rights across the world, failing Kant s second formulation of the Categorical Imperative, as well as not satisfying Act Utilitarianism. Thus, corporations, and individuals within those corporations, possess considerable ability to make ethical decisions that have great impact to many people, culminating in the truth that corporations have moral status. Kids usually range in sports such as basketball, football, baseball, softball, soccer, dance, and gymnastics. With every youth sport organization comes the negatives and the positives. The negative aspects are that parents can be hard on their children, and receiving a participation trophy or ribbon even though they lost. The positives being that they can begin healthy lifestyles by participating in youth sports. Physically they get the required exercise they need, and will eventually continue that throughout their life. Emotionally, they leave youth sports will a sense of accomplishment, and being seen by college coaches to help boost their self esteem. Parents will generally take the coaching position when their kid plays an organized sport which can potentially be a bad thing. For example, my dad thought he needed to coach me in every sport I played until I told him he needed to be a spectator instead. After a while you will notice these parents become very competitive in games that do not really matter to the kids playing because they are just happy to be there. This can cause problems because when the kid of the coach will become mad at their kid, and reprimand them for things the child might not even know that they are doing ... M1 And M2 The rate of effusion of a gaseous substance is inversely proportional to the square root of its molar mass. where: Rate1 is the rate of effusion of the first gas (volume or number of moles per unit time). Rate2 is the rate of effusion for the second gas. M1 is the molar mass of gas 1 M2 is the molar mass of gas 2. Graham s law states that the rate of diffusion or of effusion of a gas is inversely proportional to the square root of its molecular weight. Thus, if the molecular weight of one gas is four times that of another, it would diffuse through a porous plug or escape through a small pinhole in a vessel at half the rate of the other (heavier gases diffuse more slowly). Although I myself am not a mother, I have seen this job played out from my own mother who provides her children with a great life. The parent or the person legally in charge of taking care of the child will be found and face serious criminal charges. The criminal charges would include abandonment and endangering a child. The effects this abandonment has on a child are ever lasting and may not go away with therapy or being adopted. Advantages of a DBMS There are so many advantages of using DBMS. The biggest advantage is DBMS lets end users and application programmers access and use the same data while managing data integrity. And data is better maintained and protected. Data can be shared using a DBMS instead of creating new iterations of the same data stored in new files for every new application. • 30. Imagery in Macbeth Imagery in Macbeth Violence and the bloodshed that results are important symbols in Shakespeare s Macbeth. While the blood that is shed is a tangible reminder of the outcomes of misused power, it also serves as an image that provokes Macbeth to reflect upon his deeds, even if he does not change his behavior. Macbeth becomes obsessed with the blood on his hands. Unfortunately, this reminder of his guilt does not prevent him from continuing violent acts. Marshall Mc Luhan. Macbeth, one of the most intriguing tragedies by Shakespeare, has an extensive use of imagery throughout the play. Post Banquo s murder, the references to blood increase even further, with quotes like, don t shake thy gory locks at me becoming all the more common. The murderers, whom Macbeth had hired to kill Banquo, describe his body lying in a ditch with twenty trenched gashes on his head . The imagery of blood is shown in such a way that there is a profuse amount of blood flowing after every murder in the play. These references to blood observe their peak with Lady Macbeth s imagined blood and the battlefield which form a crescendo to conglomerate all the murders performed in the play. Out damned spot. Out, I say! One two! a passing reference is also made by the second apparition to Macbeth, be bloody, bold and resolute . • 32. Reflection Paper On My Writing Process Reflective Memo Description of my Writing Process In my writing process, pre writing was my initial step where I had to find the narrative to write. I had numerous stories in my mind, but I had to get the best, which draws inspiration to me, and the one that could teach valuable lessons to my audience. So, I had to refer from that childhood memory regarding the most significant narrative. However, I had to build up on the story. Therefore, I had to use the myth worksheet issued at class, to make sure that my story meets all the course requirements. Apparently, I had to make some changes (revise) the narrative, to deliver the most intended life lesson to my audience. That is when I decided to plan and structure on what to write down in particular. The actual writing was my second step, where I had to start writing my draft. However, I had several challenges at this phase, such as word count, grammar issues, among others. Apparently, I had to write several rough copies of my narrative. Again, I had to get the best time and location to eliminate any potential distractions. In fact, at this stage, I had no confidence with my narrative on whether it will convey a relevant meaning to my audience. But now the writing process was advancing well, and I started revising my paper. When revising my narrative, I had to adapt A.R.R.R.R approach where, I had to add some words, rearrange my paragraphs and sentences to consider flow, pacing, and sequencing of my story. Again, I had to remove the irrelevant parts, considering whether the reader will acquire the required message. Finally, replacing them with the relevant words and phrases. My final step was editing and proofreading. At this phase, I had to check for clarity, grammar, repetition, punctuation, and spelling. Editing and proofreading were detailed processes since they were the last step in my writing process. At this moment, I had gained confidence in my paper, since I had read it several times, affirming that it made some sense. Furthermore, I gave it to my friend who is a professional to proofread, and he assured me that the paper was sensible. Revising the Narrative Apparently, I had to review my story to convey the message swiftly. In the initial story, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
