Time management is a key to success.



Being able to manage one’s time efficiently
will make things more effective.





It is important to prioritize one’s work in
order to be able to accomplish them with
enough time.
One can use the time management matrix to
prioritize activities.
Time Spent

Gym
Homework
Studying
Watching TV
Friends


Activities that should be in quadrant 1 of day 1 are: Going to
class, Homework, and studying. This are very important and
urgent, however there is no enough time spent in this activities. I
spent four and a half hours in this quadrant. However, only one
and a half hour are spent doing homework and studying, which
is not enough.



Activities that should be in quadrant 2 are: Friends and going to
the gym. This are important but not urgent.



Activities that should be in quadrant 3 are: Watching the shows I
follow. This is urgent for me but it is not important.



Activities that should be in quadrant 4 are: Being on Facebook
and using the internet to search for random things. I spent 2
hours in this quadrant which is 2 hours wasted.

Activities in day 2 by quadrant:
Quadrant 1: Going to class, homework, and studying.
Quadrant 2: Friends, laundry, and going to the gym.
Quadrant 3: Watching TV.
Quadrant 4: Facebook and uneccesary internet usage.
In quadrant 1 I spent more time in comparison with day 1, by
spending more time studying.
In quadrant 2, the only difference was that I did
laundry, however, I did it while I working out at the gym.
In quadrant 3, I spent more time watching TV.
In quadrant 4, it was the same as day 1.





I am able to finish assignments in quadrant 1, which are
the most important things.
I am able to find time for friends and entertainment.
I am able to multitask whenever I can, as I did in day 2;
doing laundry and working out at the same time.
I spent enough time for myself to relax.


There is too much time spent in quadrant 4;
being on facebook, which is unnecessary and
useless.



I do not spend enough time in quadrant 1; I do
everything in a rush, because I run out of time.



I do not plan out my assignments in advance.



I escape from my responsibilities by using
facebook and searching random things on the
internet.


In conclusion, I should be more organized
with my time by making a plan each day, so I
can divide my time. Using the matrix to
prioritize the work I have. Also I should not
procrastinate, and start doing assignments
earlier to do a better work on them.
Managing my time effectively, will make my
work more effective.
