2. Introduction
Before you can sell a product, you need to
know your product. The best salespeople are
those who know and believe in their product.
In this case you need to convince yourself
that the product is worth selling. The same is
selling yourself to a potential employer.
Resume will tell your employers that you are a
true worthwhile applicant and that you can do
the job better than those came before. Make
a convincing sales pitch for yourself. For this
the first thing you have to do is to set
realistic objectives.

3. Setting your objectives
It means, “What do you want to accomplish?”
To clarify your objectives, you have to ask yourself
some questions about your strengths, weaknesses,
goals, abilities, etc.
In this phase, we have to think about the following
points:

II. Goals
III. Achievements
IV. Life style
V. Needs

4. Resume/Curriculum vitae
What is a resume?
Your introduction to the potential employer.
The resume represents you in offices you have never seen.
A CV/Resume contains in brief all information about
you that is relevant for the job: personal information,
education, work experience etc. The CV shows what
qualifications and experiences you have that make
you an ideal candidate for the position.

5. CV or Resume?
Sometimes the terms CV (Curriculum Vitae)
and resume are synonymous, although
people in the UK normally use the term CV,
not resume. In the USA, a resume (1-2 pages)
is not as long and detailed as a CV, which is
usually required when applying for a position
in an academic field.

6. Resume Writing Tips
Know the purpose of your resume
Back up your qualities and strengths
Use effective titles
Bad title: Accounting
Good title: Management of A/R and A/P and Recordkeeping
Use bullet points
Put the most important information first
Do not include “no kidding” information
Explain the benefits of your skills
No pictures
Identify the problems of the employer
You don’t need to list all your work experiences
No lies, please
One or two pages
Use action verbs
No hobbies
No fancy design details

Objective Statement:
What do you want to do if you get this job. What are your intentions.
Education/Qualifications
degree(with description), year of start and end, institute name and address
Training:
Workshops, trainings, seminars, etc (date and place)
Work Experiences (current experiences first)
Position,Company name and address, Date, brief description of your
responsibilities and achievements
Further Information:
other skills (e.g. foreign language skills, Computer, etc), additional information
that may support your objective and qualifications
