2) Coworking provides benefits like a better work-life balance, reducing isolation, and improving networking opportunities. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the coworking industry and new health and safety measures must be implemented.
3) As coworking spaces reopen, adaptations like frequent cleaning, hand sanitizer stations, plexiglass shields between desks, and reduced capacity in shared spaces will help make employees feel safe while maintaining the benefits of coworking.
SOS VILLAGE JORDAN
The SOS Children's Village in Aqaba, Jordan houses about 100 orphaned children in eight family homes. The village was designed around a central square and includes additional buildings like an administration building, kindergarten, and service center. Traditional local materials like stone and wood were used and the design incorporated passive cooling techniques like shading and ventilation to suit the hot, arid climate. The Atira Housing project in Ahmedabad, India was one of architect Balkrishna Doshi's early experiments in public housing from 1956. The housing was commissioned by Kasturbhai Lalbhai for workers at the Atira Textile Factory and researchers at the Physical Research Laboratory. Doshi designed low-cost housing units inspired by Le Corbusier's projects, using local materials and natural ventilation. The north-south oriented houses had verandas and cross ventilation slots. Each single room house had a patio, toilet and shared drainage between backyards. Though Doshi hoped to use local potters for the vaulted structures, bricks were ultimately used to control costs. architectural education is constantly emphasized. Recently, this became the main topic of
the European Association for Architectural
Education Annual Conference, held in The
Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto,
under the title: Design Studio as laboratory
for interactions between architectural education and society.
There are two major models for the Design
Studio organization – a horizontal or vertical
system – where the horizontal one includes
the students from one year, while the vertical
system gathers together students from all
years.
At ARCHIP, we follow the principle of the
“vertical studio” model in the organisation
of the Architectural Design studio. Within
the Vertical studio, all years cooperate on
and develop projects for a single site and
program, yet their scale, scope and aims are
different. By this, we believe we can simulate
the competiveness of real life architectural
competitions.
There are in fact multiple independent
vertical studios at ARCHIP running in parallel: four independent studios for the undergraduate and graduate students. There are up
to 20 students per studio with each having
a similar number of first, second and third
year students.
While the project’s site and program are
the same for all studios, the specific design

AGRITECTURE is the art,science, and business of integrating agricultureinto cities. Itis the fusion of “Agriculture” and “Architecture”. A rising concernwith the frameworkof the natural environmentis that of climate change. PAKISTANas an agricultural countryand day byday we are overcoming throughthat land by infrastructure. Will acting as a mergerof Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Design and sometheories like Hortus Conclusus. After the arrival of modernism and the growth urbanism, modernhomes and highrise habitats replaced gardens. Fast growing populations and changesin lifestyle contributed to the destruction of garden cities (Samiei, 2012). “any form of design that minimizesenvironmentallydestructive impacts by integrating itself with living processes” (Van der Ryn,Cowan S, 1996).
