2. Edpuzzle
• Edpuzzle allows educators to create interactive and
engaging educational videos to share with their
students.
• Educators can differentiate student response with
multiple choice and open-response answers. After
each answer, the student can self-assess using the
feedback provided by the teacher. Furthermore, the
students can answer questions regarding an open-
response if they are not understanding.
• Edpuzzle is FERPA and COPPA compliant. It also is
apart of the Student Safety Pledges and provided
instructions on how to keep data safe and delete it if
needed.
• Educators can assign videos through the Edpuzzle
app, or paste the link into their Google Classroom.

3. Edulastic
oEdulastic is an assessment tools that educators can use to monitor
student progress through differentiated questions and answers.
oThe Live Class Board allows educators to see overall student progress
in graph form. Multiple choice responses grade student answer after
the assessment is submitted, however, other types of questions will
need to be graded by you and provide feedback through
conversation. The graph allows you to see what needs to be retaught
or who needs extra practice with a topic.
oEdulastic allows students to sign-in with google or clever. Educators
can also sync their google classroom with Edulastic to make assigning
assessments easy and hassle-free.

4. Dotstorming
o Dotstorming is an app that educators can use
to facilitate engagement within their classroom.
o The students can use voting board to decide on
a topic or look at a list of options.
o The students can use the walls to generate
thoughts and ideas through digital sticky notes.
o The students can use collages to collaborate on
a digital canvas that they can draw on.
o This is a great tool for collaboration, building
background knowledge, and classroom culture.
o Students will login using their google
information. The teacher can share the link with
the students so that they can participate in the
digital learning environment.

oFactile can be used as a whole-group review game or a self-
paced digital learning environment. Individual reviews can allow
educators to see their student's progression through the
questions they create and assign.
oThere are multiple different game modes that will provide a
variety of questions and questions format that will foster critical
thinking skills for each student.
oStudents will join a game through a link that is generated by the
teacher. However, the student can login using their Google
account information.

o Storybird allows students to create their
own stories (or work collaboratively) to
publish their stories. The student's work
is safe because educators can have their
work published privately.
o Students will log-in to Storybird with
their email. Once they publish their
work, a team of moderators will review
their work to ensure their safety and
privacy. The students can share their
published work with the teacher.
o The teacher can review the story and
provide in-person feedback to the
student.

oNearpod allows educators to teach 3 different ways: live participation, self-
paced, or in front of class. Nearpod can create lessons to be interactive,
gamified, and activities.
oNearpod allows educators to review student post-session reports and provide
feedback and extra support for those who need it afterwards.
oNearpod allows access to lessons that are already created based on the grade
level and topic you are teaching. This is a great way to review content and
assign self-paced lessons.
oStudents gain access to Nearpod through a code that is generated and posted
into their classroom, which eliminates the need for students to login to the
program with their emails and personal information.

o IXL provided educators and students
with different learning outcomes and
assessment data to further extend their
learning.
o For educators, the Real-Time
Diagnostics allows teachers to look at
students' overall grades and pinpoint
specific needs a student may need.
o IXL also follows Arkansas State
Standards.
o Students are able to login to their
assignments through clever and access
their assigned work or lessons through
the app.

9. Gimkit
oGimkit is a great way for educators to publish and assign live-gaming
links. However, educators can also assign games as homework.
Students can also collaborate to generate their own assessment
questions.
oTeachers can get a live view of the types of responses that are being
generated through the questions being asked. This allows for teachers
to reteach a topic or work with small groups.
oStudents do not need an account to play Gimkit. All they need is the
game code to launch a game that the teacher assigns.
oGimkit is in compliance with FERPA, COPPA, and Ed-Law2D

o Epic allows students access to thousands of
books curated for them. Educators can also
assign books and create an online classroom
library that correlates with topic or focus area.
o Educators can assign quizzes that students can
take after finishing a book. Educators will have
to review the results and offer in-person
feedback.
o Epic allows for critical thinking skills to develop
using comprehension questions after the
reading.
o Students can log-in to Epic through their district.
They can gain access to this through clever or
google and sign-in with a class code. Once they
sign-in, they will already have a profile on their
teacher’s Epic account.

oOrigo is a K-6 math curriculum that allows students to engage in interactive
notebooks, games, and math tools.
oOrigo provides feedback that is generated by program; however, educators
will grade each response to provide the student with productive feedback.
oThe app allows students to interact with different mathematical tools to
increase their understanding of a concept.
oStudents will sign-up through their school district and complies with FERPA.
oStudents can gain access to the program through their district site. Once
they get there, they log-in using their google or clever login. They will then
be directed to choose the class they are in. It is easy to use because
assignments show up once at a time, therefore, students will not be
confused which assignment they need to work on.
