Their Eyes Were Watching God Essays
Crafting an essay on the topic "Their Eyes Were Watching God" can be both challenging and
rewarding. This classic novel by Zora Neale Hurston delves into complex themes such as
identity, love, and the search for self-realization. While the novel provides rich material for
analysis and interpretation, it also presents a set of challenges for the writer.
One of the difficulties lies in navigating the intricate narrative structure of the novel. "Their Eyes
Were Watching God" is not a linear story, and the timeline of events is not presented in a
straightforward manner. This non-traditional structure can make it challenging to organize your
thoughts and arguments coherently in the essay.
Furthermore, the novel's use of dialect and unique narrative voice adds another layer of
complexity. Hurston's distinctive writing style, which captures the rhythms and nuances of
African American Vernacular English, may require careful consideration to ensure that the essay
remains clear and accessible to the reader.
Analyzing the characters, particularly the protagonist Janie Crawford, involves exploring her
evolution and relationships throughout the narrative. It can be demanding to dissect Janie's
journey and motivations while delving into the broader social and cultural context of the story.
Despite these challenges, tackling an essay on "Their Eyes Were Watching God" offers an
opportunity to engage deeply with a thought-provoking work of literature. The key is to
approach the task with patience, critical thinking, and a willingness to explore the layers of
meaning embedded in the text.
In conclusion, writing an essay on this literary masterpiece requires a careful balance of textual
analysis, thematic exploration, and attention to narrative intricacies. The process can be
demanding, but the insights gained from studying "Their Eyes Were Watching God" make the
effort worthwhile.

The Changing Nature, Spatial Patterns and Ecological...
Examine the changing nature, spatial patterns and ecological dimensions of a global
economic activity
Wine production involves two parts of economic activity viticulture and wine making
in the winery. In the global context, wine production is dynamic due to the influence
of globalization, technological advancements and extensive research. These have
essentially influenced the nature, spatial patterns and the ecological dimensions of
the wine industry.
Wine production involves the growing and harvesting of grapes in vineyards. The
vines require specific environmental elements to be able to grow grapes suitable for
winemaking. They require temperature between 10C 20C to produce the correct
sugar composition through photosynthesis. In ... Show more content on

These are the new world producers which are generally located in the Southern
Hemisphere. Australia, Argentina, South Africa and the US have growing wine
industries and are taking a large percentage of the global market share from old
producing nations.
The expansion of wine production is a result of expansive technological
advancements which have made it possible to grow wines in inappropriate locations.
For example, wines are genetically enhanced in most new world countries in order for
them to survive a deficiency in the environment which may include high temperatures
or a lack of rainfall. Irrigation systems area prime example that have assisted iin the
wine industry of Australia.
Asia has also experimented with viticulture as many developing nations, such as
china, have identified a market they are able to enter. Indeed, this is a result of the
genetically enhanced wines who can survive in the differing climatic conditions.
Ecological Dimensions
Ecological dimensions of wine production primarily centre on the use of organic
viticulture. Since the earlier days of production, industries have realized they had
used a devastating amount of agrochemicals and fertilisers to grow their wines.
Today, as environmental views have changed, many wine producers have initiated or
promoted the notion of organic viticulture. This involves the use of organic materials
and using
Sacrificial Reinforcement In Behaviour
Efficacy of behaviour modification plans and differential reinforcement in behaviour
Behaviour modification (BM) plans rely on the individual s commitment to alter
their own behaviour through achievable milestones and reinforcement. It was
mainly used by therapists in the late 1970s early 1980s, with success in areas that
depended on the reinforcer. Recently, BM plans have been utilised to combat
widespread negative behaviours such as procrastination which is defined as any
aversive behaviour that can be caused by poor self regulation and underestimation of
tasks (Steel, 2007). Whilst a little is perfectly normal in life, those who seek
immediate satisfaction more regularly than others begin to display a pattern of self
harming behaviour that becomes detrimental in the long run. On the other hand,
study behaviour is defined as any behaviour that promotes learning without
distractions and avoiding tasks (Loftin et al. 2005). Recently, researchers looked at
Facebook use as a cause of procrastinate behaviour and found that people who use

This method however opens the possibility of bias due to social desirability (van

possible like a camera was watching them. It is already known that internet based
cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is an effective way to reduce procrastination
(Rozental Carlbring, 2013), so this study hopes that BM plans are similarly effective
especially when reinforcers and punishers are contingent and valuable. It s important
that rewards are of some importance to the individual so that reinforcers can act as
discriminating stimulus. E.g. money isn t a good reinforcer because it s worth
different values to different people, whereas a token economy would be more
Gucci s Use Of Gender Roles In Advertising
Gender roles have been a part of society since the beginning of society itself. Men
are supposed to be bigger, stronger, smarter, they should go out and support their
family. Women are meant to fragile and they should stay at home to raise the
children. Though this idea is not as present as it once was, and many people,
especially women, continue to step away from that idea, it is still present especially
in advertising. Gucci s 2011 advertisement for their Guilty cologne is no exception to
this. The advertisement features Chris Evans, known for his roles in the Captain
America films, and Evan Rachel Wood, known for her roles in Westworld. The two
stand naked against a black background. The cologne bottle is pictured in the bottom
right corner of the image. The title is above their heads in bold white letters and says
Gucci Guilty: Pour Homme. They use these genderroles, and other common societal
ideas to convey their message that the use of the cologne will not only make it s
target audience more attractive but it will spice up their life and get them pretty
women. Chris Evans is the first thing that the audience sees when looking at the
given advertisement. He represents the role of men in society perfectly. His
piercing blue eyes provide a stark contrast with the rest of the image. He s looking
directly into the camera as well which exudes a level of confidence that most men
can only wish to have. Viewers will be left wondering what they could do to achieve

Explain The Integumentary System
1.Name and describe the function of each major organ system in the body.
a.Integumentary system The integumentary system consists of the hair, skin, and
nails and is the largest organ in the human body. It acts as a protector of the deeper
body systems, maintains and regulates body temperature, and helps to eliminate
waste and toxins from the body. It also senses touch and pressure as well as
temperatures and pain.
b.Skeletal system The skeletal system refers to the bones and joints of the human
body. At birth, infants have over 260 bones in the body but as an adult, many of
them fuse together to make a total of 206 bones. The skeletal system is the base of
what allows us to move around and perform even the smallest of tasks. It also ... Show

Muscular system The muscle system is just that muscles. Muscles, with the support
of the skeletal system, are what makes humans walk, run, or grab and lift thing by
contracting and working together with other muscles and body parts.
d.Nervous system The nervous system is the fast acting message center for the brain
and spinal cord to nerves and other parts of the body. When you think to jump, this is
what tells your brain and your muscles when and where to jump. Like the
integumentary system, it also senses and regulates body temperature on the outside,
but the nervous system also regulates and detects internal temperatures.
e.Endocrine system The endocrine system houses the hypothalamus, pituitary gland,
gonads, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, and adrenals. It is responsible for secreting
hormones throughout the human body. Hormones are what regulate things like our
sex drive, reproduction, sleep patterns, metabolism, and moods.
f.Cardiovascular system The cardiovascular system houses the heart and blood
vessels what keeps you alive. Without this system (a beating heart), our blood would
not circulate throughout our body while getting rid of toxic waste and other vital
organs wouldn t get the oxygen needed for them to work and
The Characteristics Of The Human Condition
The Human condition is a concept about the characteristics, key events and situations
which compose the essentials of human existence as we know it. Humans today are
unique in many different ways. Each individual today is unique despite being
connected through life, death, and emotional journeys which we all endure. The way
individual s express emotions through actions or words may be different than the rest
of society. The different ethics and morals that an individual has are also expressed
differently with each individual.
An example of how humans deal with different emotions, Stephen Paddock, 64 of
Mesquite, Nevada. On October 1st, 2017 Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd
of 22,000 people, killing 59 and injuring over 500 more. To this date, this is the
deadliest shooting in Modern American history. It was known that Paddock had a
horrible gambling problem, spending thousands of dollars a day at the Vegas
Casinos. This problem of gambling may have led to why Paddock committed such
a gruesome and horrific crime. These actions raise a few questions. Are humans
naturally evil or good? Are we selfish or altruistic? Personally I don t believe there
is a correct answer to these, while Paddock is seen as an evil individual by most of
society, each individual s thoughts and reasoning are unique. The answers behind
these questions are constructed through your experiences in this journey of life, and
not one person lives the same life with the same experience in the same social
environment.
In the film Fight Club, the narrator and his alter ego help form a place where other
people can go and be someone different. The narrator in the film suffers from
insomnia and having a materialistic mindset. This is different from how humans used
to think. In the primitive ages of humans, they were not focused on having the
newest item on the market, they were focused on living and providing for their
family. Different from the minds of humans in todays world, humans now need the
latest and greatest object to feel like there life has any meaning. In the film the
narrator s apartment gets blown up buy his alter ego, know as Tyler Dunden in the
film. After this happens the narrator says It s only after we ve lost

Criminal Justice
I.Brief Cupp v. Murphy
412 U.S. 291, 93 S.Ct. 2000, 36 L.Ed.2d 900 (1973)
Merits: The respondent, Daniel Murphy, was convicted by a jury in an Oregon
court of the second degree murder of his wife. The victim died by strangulation in
her home in the city of Portland, and abrasions and lacerations were found on her
throat. There was no sign of a break in or robbery. Word of the murder was sent to the
estranged husband, Daniel Murphy. Upon receiving the message, Murphy promptly
telephoned the Portland police and voluntarily came into Portland for questioning.

Id., at 1007. The U.S. Supreme Court granted the State s petition for certiorari.
Issue: Whether respondent s Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment Rights were violated
when he was subjected to a search of his person, albeit under probable cause, without
a warrant and prior to a formal arrest.
Argument: Reasoning:
1)Nothing is more clear than that the Fourth Amendment was meant to prevent
wholesale intrusions upon the personal security of our citizenry, whether these
intrusions be termed arrests or investigatory detentions. Davis v. Mississippi, 394
U.S. 721, 726 727.
2)...the search of the respondent s fingernails went beyond mere physical
characteristics...constantly exposed to the public, United States v. Dionisio, supra, and
constituted the type of severe though brief intrusion upon cherished personal security
that is subject to constitutional scrutiny. Terry v. Ohio, supra, at 24 25.
3)The Court recognized in Chimel v. California, 395 U.S. 752, that the scope of a
warrantless search must be commensurate with the rationale that excepts the search
from the warrant requirement. Chimel authorizes a search of incident to arrest for
(1) weapons or (2) incriminating evidence. Further, Chimel limited the scope of a
search incident to arrest to the person placed under arrest and the area into which an
arrestee might reach. 395 U.S., at 763.

Should the 22nd Amendment Be Repealed
In the political world today there are so many different opinions about several
different topics. The topics that I will address to you will be, should the 22nd
Amendment be repealed and also should the foreign born be allowed to run for
president. In both topics you may have your pros and cons, but I am strongly against
the both of them because I feel that the Constitution should not be taken advantage of.
Government should not be allowed to manipulate the Constitution to suit his or her
needs. While making adjustments to the Constitution to allow different things to take
place for convenience doesn t leave any form respect of the Constitution. There
should be a line drawn to keep this from happening for years to come on these issues

Republicans are pushing for Schwarzenegger to be the one who put this statement to
an end reach reads: Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution. It reads, No
person except a natural born citizen ... shall be eligible to the office of president
(CNN News, 2004). Schwarzenegger s supporters are pushing for a constitutional
amendment that would allow the Austrian born governor to run for president while
others are against this change, (USA Today, 2005). These issues and other issues are
just a test to see if the American people will allow such changes to take place without
having input on it. In addition, it could become a test of American attitudes toward
immigrants in the post 9/11 era, and also put some more thought into the topic of
interest. I am totally against it because I am employed by the Immigration service and
changes to the Constitution would allow room for disasters to our country. Although,
there are some immigrants that are here to make a difference, there are still others
who will not remain loyal to our country and follow our guidelines of making our
country a safe and better place to live. http://www.termlimits.org/Current_Info/22nd

Nicaragua is a city in Central America. Just like every other city in the world,
Nicaragua has the five themes of geography. The five themes of geography are
location, place, human environment interaction, movement and region. With that
being said, let s get right into it! There are two types of location, which are absolute
location and relative location. The absolute location of Nicaraguais 12.86 degrees N

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Maple Leaf Foods (MLF), a result of many mergers and amalgamations, has been
in Canada for over 100 years. Its operations focus on three core areas: meat
products, agribusiness and bakery products. The meat product group is the largest,
with sales to about $2.5 billion in 2000. Each business is made up of independent
operating companies (IOCs), with each IOC run by a president and encouraged to
follow a common set of values. Efforts are underway to optimize vertical
coordination of the IOCs. A major concern for the meat product division is the loss
of market share in the hot dog industry where average price per kilo is increasing ...

RESULTS OF SITUATION ANALYSIS
MLF is losing market share due to proliferation of unsuccessful brands such as _Beef
Dogs_, _Lean n Lite_ and _Burns_. Having too many brands has spread corporate
resources thin and has underutilized the Maple Leaf brand name leading to lack of a
national identity of their hot dog segment, productivity problems and rising costs,
both operational and production.
THE ALTERNATIVES THEIR ANALYSIS
ALTERNATIVE 1: _Eliminate poor performing hot dog brands and re allocate the
funds associated with them to existing brands that are doing well in order to increase
their sales._
The hot dogs that we are trying to improve sales for are: _Hygrade_, _Maple Leaf
Originals_, _Top Dogs_ and _Shopsy s_. This option involves reformulating _Top
Dogs_ to make it taste better and provide value for the consumers, without trying to
make it a national brand. MLF will increase market research in order to gain vital
information to help properly position this brand in each of the different regions. MLF
can borrow money from other, more profitable IOCs
Standard Based Learning And Its Impact On Education
Standard based learning has led to the demise of public education for years. Standard
based learning is an educational system that measures students achievement and
mastery of skills by their performance on assessments. Institutions that implement
standard based learning use learning standards that explicitly describe what students
should theoretically know and what lessons that educators should teach. The learning
standards were created to define the adeptness of the students, ensure the retention of
information, and the acquisition of the appropriate skills. Law makers tend to believe
that standards will make the educational system a better place. With each political

education of our children Educators are not only limited financially but they are

requirements that tend to hinder the true abilities of students and educators; no
student is the same therefore it seems almost impossible to require every student to
be able to comprehend on the same levels.
In order to measure student competency evaluations are given. These evaluations
formally known as standardized tests are not only used to measure students wit they
are also used to give an indication of the educators performace.Standardized tests are

and state writing tests seem to all have one thing in common; they are used to
determine the amount of money schools will receive. Education is yet another pawn

of funds that they receive from the government, meaning that if a school does not

Cultural Interview Essay
CULTURAL INTERVIEW My cultural interview was with a coworker, 28 years of
age and of Hispanic descent. While conducting the interview I learned a lot about the
Hispanic culture. Many Hispanics like to be called Latino (a). Some do not like to be
referred to as Mexican when they are from other countries other than Mexico.
Hispanics also use slang within their culture just like African Americans. Within the
culture the male is the dominant figure in the household. All the decisions that affect
the family go through the father. If there is no father in the house, the oldest son
fulfills that role. The older son may drop out of school so that they may assist the

Their family got together every opportunity they could. They had many traditional
things they did as a family such as a gathering of family every year for her

would also draw together to exchange gifts at different relative s houses. The
interviewee stated this became a tradition for her family because the married
people in the family had to attend festivities at their spouses relatives. English and
Spanish are both spoken in the Hispanics households. The majority of the older
members of the family only speak Spanish. My interviewee stated that she did not
know how to speak Spanish, but her mother did and fluently. She stated that her
mother has always told her that she needed to know Spanish because that was her
heritage, but she never felt it very necessary. The Hispanic culture celebrates the
coming of age which is called a 15 or Quinceaneras. The Quinceanernas is usually a
big production for the girls. The girls have escorts and dress in a formal type

My interviewee stated that she did not have a Quinceaneras because she did not

They even used the cover off of one of the procedure manuals and a sock. This
shows extreme innovation in my opinion. This ability to be so innovative, I think
also leads to arrogance. When Gene Kranz announced to everyone that failure is not
an option, he displayed arrogance. He wanted people to realize that they were going
to succeed by any means possible. Arrogance was also displayed by the pilots
throughout the movie. Tom Hanks (Jim Lovell) for example didn t seem all that
amused when Neil Armstrong was taking his first steps on the moon, almost to a
sense that he knew he would get his chance. The NASA pilots also displayed that
they had an extreme comfort level within their teams. When Ken Mattingly was
told that he was going to have to stay behind, Jim Lovell was upset because he didn
t want to work with Jack Swigert. He even mentioned how the original team knew
the tone of each other s voices, displaying an extreme level of comfort with one
another. This comfort level within their teams also was displayed nonverbally when
the two teams interacted with each other. When one team was walking out of the
training shuttle and the other was walking in, I got a sense of the first team acting
like they were better than the backups. This was displayed by their body language
when the first team went back in to practice because Ken Mattingly said he needed

The Restoration Movement
In Bill Humble s book: Story Of The Restoration, he does an excellent and concise
job covering this time period. His information packed sentences and logical flow
make this a well worth read. The Restoration Movement bears significance today as
is did from its beginning. Humble notes that, The Restoration Movement began in
America about 1800, nearly 200 years after the first English settlements in the New
World. (Humble 1). The New World was very diverse religiously compared to Europe
where Catholicism was prominent. The author goes on to list several of the main
religious groups that colonized the New World. Anglicanism became the state church

He notes: The decade following the Civil War saw a division in the Church in the
North. One point of contention was missionary societies between Isaac Errett and
Benjamin Franklin. The Louisville Plan restructured the Society with the aim of
maintaing peace in the brotherhood (Humble 57). The restructuring however
ultimately failed for lack of funds. The question of instrumental music was asked in
1851, and the discussion broadened between 1864 1865 when W. K. Pendleton saw
instruments as mere expediency. Some, such as McGarvey and Moses E. Lard, stood
fast in opposing the use of instruments. Another conservative, Benjamin Franklin,
said: Better is poor singing where love is, than the grandest tones of the organ and
hatred therewith. (Humble 60). In 1906 the Churches of Christ and the Christian
Church were officially listed separately in the United States Census. This was mostly
based on the use of instruments or not. Humble notes: In 1896 J.D. Tant estimated
that more than a hundred Texas congregations had divided over the use of
instrumental music. (Humble 65). Nevertheless, in 1916, Churches of Christ in Texas
were more numerous than Christian Churches (Humble 66). Division seemed to be
spotlighted in progressives and conservatives, but division abounded in each group as
well. For example, many conservatives agreed against societies and instruments, but
Positive Effects Of The Spanish Conquest
The Spanish Conquest impacted the Aztec society s beliefs and way of life. The
Aztec empire was a wealthy and a well organized society. It was an empire that
people from Europe had never seen before. There are many mixed feelings about
the impact of the Spaniards in the new world. Some experts view it as negative and
others believed there were many positive results of this conquest. Regardless if we
agree whether the conquest was positive or negative, there is no doubt that the
Spanish conquest was the beginning of the end for the Aztecempire. An empire that
had their own set of beliefs filled with exotic mythology and legends.
The capital of the Aztec empire, Tenochtitlan, and what is known today as Mexico
City was conquered in 1521 by the Spanish explorer named Hernando Cortez.
Cortez was born Medellin, Spain in 1485. He was the only son of a noble family
and his father was a captain in the Spanish army. He was fascinated with
Christopher Columbus journeys in the new world. This was a far cry from his
parents wish for him to be lawyer. Before reaching the Yucatan Peninsula in
Mexico, Cortes along with Diego Velazquez, were powerful figures in the island of
Cuba. Their partnership soon ended when Cortes went against Velasquez s wishes
to marry his sister and sailed to the mainland of Mexico against his orders. On 1519
Cortez reached the harbor of central Veracruz ( True Cross ). He arrived with 11
ships, 15 horses and a fleet of 500 men in search for gold. Cortes soon learned that
the land was ruled by the great Aztec lord in the city of TenochtitlГЎn: King
Monezuma II.
The Aztecs had many beliefs that were based on the end of the world and nature.
The Aztec religion focused on keeping a balance in nature. They believed that one
mistake could lead to a natural disaster or could cause the sun to stop rotating.
Among the many hundreds of gods that the Aztecs adored, there was a particularly
interesting god that stood out from the rest. This god was Quetzalcoatl, otherwise
knows as the Feathered Serpent . According to legend Quetzalcoatl created all
humans with his own blood. The Aztecs believed that they needed to repay
Quetzalcoatl and all the gods for their sacrifice by performing rituals. In
The Purpose Of A Chip Shot
The purpose of the chip shot is to drop the ball from the green to the edge of the

situation is the same. When preparing to play a chip, Jacobs describes the proper

Comparing The Gospels Of Matthew And Luke
The Gospels of Matthew and Luke are almost identical at times to each other, as
well as the Gospel of Mark. Interestingly enough, it is believed that Mark was
written significantly earlier than the other two Gospels mentioned. This means that
it is very plausible that Mark was used as a source for the authors of Matthew and
Luke. That being said, there are stories included in both Matthew and Luke that are
almost identical to each other, but are not found in Mark. How could this be? This

  • 1. Their Eyes Were Watching God Essays Crafting an essay on the topic "Their Eyes Were Watching God" can be both challenging and rewarding. This classic novel by Zora Neale Hurston delves into complex themes such as identity, love, and the search for self-realization. While the novel provides rich material for analysis and interpretation, it also presents a set of challenges for the writer. One of the difficulties lies in navigating the intricate narrative structure of the novel. "Their Eyes Were Watching God" is not a linear story, and the timeline of events is not presented in a straightforward manner. This non-traditional structure can make it challenging to organize your thoughts and arguments coherently in the essay. Furthermore, the novel's use of dialect and unique narrative voice adds another layer of complexity. Hurston's distinctive writing style, which captures the rhythms and nuances of African American Vernacular English, may require careful consideration to ensure that the essay remains clear and accessible to the reader. Analyzing the characters, particularly the protagonist Janie Crawford, involves exploring her evolution and relationships throughout the narrative. It can be demanding to dissect Janie's journey and motivations while delving into the broader social and cultural context of the story. Despite these challenges, tackling an essay on "Their Eyes Were Watching God" offers an opportunity to engage deeply with a thought-provoking work of literature. The key is to approach the task with patience, critical thinking, and a willingness to explore the layers of meaning embedded in the text. In conclusion, writing an essay on this literary masterpiece requires a careful balance of textual analysis, thematic exploration, and attention to narrative intricacies. The process can be demanding, but the insights gained from studying "Their Eyes Were Watching God" make the effort worthwhile. Whilst a little is perfectly normal in life, those who seek immediate satisfaction more regularly than others begin to display a pattern of self harming behaviour that becomes detrimental in the long run. • 4. Gucci s Use Of Gender Roles In Advertising Gender roles have been a part of society since the beginning of society itself. Men are supposed to be bigger, stronger, smarter, they should go out and support their family. Women are meant to fragile and they should stay at home to raise the children. Though this idea is not as present as it once was, and many people, especially women, continue to step away from that idea, it is still present especially in advertising. Gucci s 2011 advertisement for their Guilty cologne is no exception to this. The advertisement features Chris Evans, known for his roles in the Captain America films, and Evan Rachel Wood, known for her roles in Westworld. The two stand naked against a black background. The cologne bottle is pictured in the bottom right corner of the image. The title is above their heads in bold white letters and says Gucci Guilty: Pour Homme. They use these genderroles, and other common societal ideas to convey their message that the use of the cologne will not only make it s target audience more attractive but it will spice up their life and get them pretty women. Chris Evans is the first thing that the audience sees when looking at the given advertisement. He represents the role of men in society perfectly. His piercing blue eyes provide a stark contrast with the rest of the image. He s looking directly into the camera as well which exudes a level of confidence that most men can only wish to have. Viewers will be left wondering what they could do to achieve this

  • 6. The Characteristics Of The Human Condition The Human condition is a concept about the characteristics, key events and situations which compose the essentials of human existence as we know it. Humans today are unique in many different ways. Each individual today is unique despite being connected through life, death, and emotional journeys which we all endure. The way individual s express emotions through actions or words may be different than the rest of society. The different ethics and morals that an individual has are also expressed differently with each individual. An example of how humans deal with different emotions, Stephen Paddock, 64 of Mesquite, Nevada. On October 1st, 2017 Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of 22,000 people, killing 59 and injuring over 500 more. To this date, this is the deadliest shooting in Modern American history. It was known that Paddock had a horrible gambling problem, spending thousands of dollars a day at the Vegas Casinos. This problem of gambling may have led to why Paddock committed such a gruesome and horrific crime. These actions raise a few questions. Are humans naturally evil or good? Are we selfish or altruistic? Personally I don t believe there is a correct answer to these, while Paddock is seen as an evil individual by most of society, each individual s thoughts and reasoning are unique. The answers behind these questions are constructed through your experiences in this journey of life, and not one person lives the same life with the same experience in the same social environment.
