Crimes against humanity are always preventable. They can be defined specific acts
which are intentionally carried out to harm or certain civilian population. They
always occur when one group or leader has ultra nationalistic values and beliefs,

Rollover crashes constitute to a meager 2 percent of all collisions and yet account
for 24 percent of passenger fatalities. Rollovers are one of the most dangerous
forms of vehicle crashes because of the high occurrence of occupants catastrophic

all vehicles to be equipped with electronic stability control (ESC). By the 2008

well as maintains control when drivers swerve. ESC senses when a driver may
lose control and automatically applies brakes to individual wheels (Outer front

Back in 1983 Glenn Ford, a black male, was convicted, by an all white jury, for the
robbery and murder of Isadore Rozeman, who was found shot to death behind the
counter of his jewelry shop. In 2000, the Louisiana Supreme Court ordered a

1. Akers and Sellers chapter 7: Compare and contrast the predictions made by labeling
theorists and deterrence theorists with respect to the utility of criminal punishment.
Labeling theorists and deterrence theorists both aim to make conclusions about why
people commit crimes and why people continue to commit crimes over and over
again. Although they have similar end goals, the labeling theory and the deterrence
theory are very different in the approach that they take to get to the end result.
Deterrence theorists try to understand how punishment affects someone s desire or
willingness to commit a crime. There are two different types of deterrence: general
and specific deterrence. General deterrence aims to set a bar for what punishment a
crime can receive. A wider population is intended to be affected by general
deterrence. In contrast, specific deterrence is focused on a singular offender. Specific
deterrence uses the punishment for a crime committed to convince the offender to
not commit the crime again. This can be achieved through the severity of the
punishment for the crime committed. Deterrence theory only attempts to explain the

We spent the first day of our trip driving across the high desert of Wyoming
towards Utah. While it made for an unusual Easter Sunday, a traditional pot roast
and a potato casserole reminded of the family holidays and fueled us for another day

Question 1:
If I were a distribution manger and was offerd some sort of gift for consideration of
a company I would be fairly reluctant. The furthest I would be willing to go with
the list of gifts presented is diner for four at a resterant. I feel that having dinner
with discuss buisness matters is faily commen within US businesses. A set of
pencils would do little to no use for me and a supply of scratch pads could probley
be usefull for business. Howerver after diner the gifts seem over lavish and
straight up bribery. While I sure even accepting a pencil could be considered
acceping a bribery, I fairly sure no higherups would be upset with me. It is after the

In all areas of life and society the treatment and well being of women have always
been challenged. In many religions the role and status of its women are usually
overwhelmed by the actions and roles of its men this inequality of religions
between male and female allows these feelings and ideology of which sex is
superior or inferior to bleed into a society s culture thus shaping their treatment of
their men and women. For Indian women during ancient times their entire lives
seemed to be under control; from childhood by their parents, then under the watch
of their husbands and as they grow older the hands of their sons. Luckily these

Buddhism a philosophy focused on spiritual development towards the true insight of

the one I decided to choose was Christ walking on the Sea of Galilee. I feel like this
piece of artwork spoke and stood out to me when I was looking at different types

painting is used to create a sense of surprise that would be appropriate for a sense of

According to the U.S Department of Justice In 1994, 44 million Americans owned
192 million firearms (p. 1), during the same year, 1,374 people were killed and
14,951 people were injured because of an unintentional firearm situation (Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, 1999). Here s the issue: the amount of people being
victims of accidental gun deaths and injuries has remained relatively constant since

For the purpose of this research, accidental gun deaths of injuries refers to the
situations where people get killed or injured when using a firearm, the examples of
this accidents go from a child accidentally pulling the trigger while playing with a

showing the gun to somebody else without realizing the gun was unlocked and/or
loaded. So why does this keep happening? Is it because people own guns? Or is it
