The sun is a primary
energy. Is renewable (we
can use it lots of times),
and it’s also a alternative
energy. The sun is the star
of the center in the
Systema Solar!

3. HOW CAN WE USE THE SUN?
We can use the sun for lots
of things. For example, we
can put solar panels for
getting electricity and get
hot water too. Some
houses have got solar
panels in its roof. We can
also use the sun in power
plants.

4. TWO TYPES OF SOLAR PLANTS
We have got two types of
solar plants: a solar plants
with photovoltaic panels or
a solar plant with mirrors.
In the next slide i’m going
to explain how this solar
plants work.

5. PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
This system use photovoltaic panels. The sun
goes to this panels and they become
continues electricity. There are houses with
this panels for get electricity and hot water.
It’s more easy get this that no the solar
plants of mirrors.

6. SOLAR PLANTS WITH MIRRORS
This system use a type of mirrors and
the sun goes to a certain punt. After,
the sun become to electricity and
move a turbine. The turbine makes
steam.
