2. Do they buy a lot of Magazines?
• The buyer of my magazine will predominantly consume
magazines at a minimum but are prone to be effected by new
technologies and gadgets such as phones, applications to
effect their exposure to media types, this is because of the
shift in the use of technology in modern society which means
that the buyer (of my magazine) will have been exposed to
only technology based productions and will therefore use
their smartphones, cameras and high tech laptops to access
magazines and media texts.
3. Will they enjoy and aspire to
fashion?
• My typical magazine consumer will also be Transfixed of new
trends and fashions as they will be interested in DJ and Indie
‘crazes’ and subsequently will want to know where people are
performing, when and what these ‘crazes’ are in the current
climate. My magazine will contain this in a great depth of
detail, which attracts the buyer to my magazine because they
will then know how to attain the items they want.
4. What will they enjoy other than
this?
• The individual will also be a very Sporty type and will enjoy
the less intellectual side of life, this is because they will be
obsessed with the lifestyle they see In the magazine and will
therefore dream of that lifestyle and will want to know all the
details and gossip of this lifestyle which will mean they will try
to replicate this celebrity DJ lifestyle.
5. Will they enjoy anything else?
• The individual will also Love clubbing and drinking, this is
because it is part and parcel with the DJ lifestyle of partying
and will also be very evident within the magazine that this is
part of the partying ‘scene’ which enhances your experience
of parting and clubbing which will promote drinking to the
readers of the magazine.
6. What type of working background
will they come from?
• My typical reader will be of a Working class background, not
necessarily low but not a high income. The reader will be
aspiring for a high income because of the aspiring DJ approach
and reason for why the reader is buying the magazine.
7. Gender, age, and why this category?
• The typical of my magazine will lastly be a male and will be in the
age range of between 16-25, I have chosen this age category
because, at the age of 16 you start to look at clubbing and drinking
more and also you start top fantasize of what the experience is
going to entail and be like. I have chosen the upper boundary of 25
because 25 if you stereotypical age were you have came out of
university or education and will choose to settle down, obviously
there are exceptions to this age range being stereotyped like this
but this is based upon the buyers of my magazine.
