Tone of voice
The Snapys are an exciting opportunity for the Insta-
gramcommunity,sowewanttoconveyourexcitement
and passion. Our language will be fun and informal, as
if you’re having a conversation, but without seeming
too young - avoiding slang and text speak with min-
imal use of emojis. The tone is informative, but will
avoid news-like or professional tones: we will focus
on educating, story-telling, sharing news, giving tips
and asking the community for their opinion.
We will not use overly technical terminology, instead
explaining the technology or photography in layman’s
terms. Like our audience, we understand photogra-
phy, technology and like to talk about it.
Instagram and photographyare passions andwewant
to share what we find beautiful and useful.
We talk to the community as real people, real individ-
uals, rather than seeing them as a 'faceless fanbase'.
