Pacific Northwest Affordable Mobility Platform (PNW AMP) by Connor HermanForth
This document summarizes the Pacific Northwest Affordable Mobility Platform (PNW AMP) project. The PNW AMP aims to combine electric vehicle test drives and utility-sponsored car sharing to increase familiarity with EVs, especially in rural areas. It is a 2-year project that will deploy 10 EVs across multiple sites in Oregon and Washington. The project aims to increase EV exposure, lower the cost per test drive, optimize vehicle utilization, and increase EV conversions. It will allow users to reserve EVs through an app for self-service test drives and low-cost hourly rentals. The project has received additional funding to expand the model to 80 EVs across 8 US cities over 3 years.

Public Fleets and Electrification by Andrea TousignantForth
Andrea Tousignant, Transportation Electrification Consultant at Ions for EVs gave this presentation at the PNW Utility Roundtable on September 16, 2021.
The document discusses key barriers to electric vehicle deployment in India and programs that Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) is undertaking to address these barriers. The major barriers include high upfront costs of electric vehicles compared to diesel, pricing risks due to evolving battery technologies, lack of long term financing for batteries, lack of credit for smaller electric vehicles, need for charging infrastructure development, and lack of institutional capacity. CPI's programs seek to address these through initiatives like battery service agreements, long term debt facilities for batteries, financing for auto rickshaws, pay-as-you-save models, and project preparation facilities to connect cities and investors.

Car sharing was found to both increase and decrease public transportation usage depending on the user group.
What Transportation Agencies Need To Know About Charging: Program models from...Forth

The age of electrification is here. Starting from the pressure to reduce emission of greenhouse gases and improving fuel efficiency, vehicle makers have been improving the internal combustion engine and are now turning into electric in a way never seen before in automotive history. This is true also for Indonesia even though being an emerging market it is lagging behind in technology and infrastructure to embrace electrification in a big way. This presentation explores the potentials, challenges, and rewards for those who are able to crack the market and flourish within this new industry.
