- 77 million workers of age 22-35 are Millennials. A number that is staggering considering that the last generation that held this many people were the baby boomers.
- They are defines as team workers and goal oriented.
- The Millennials have the most diverse group of individuals through out history.
- Researchers have hailed this generation as the most educated population of people in American history. Over 25% have their college degree.
- Many challenges that Millennials will need to face especially because of the economic depression that country underwent. Many have high student loans, the average amount owed is just over 25 thousand and while there are more college graduates in this generation job scarcity is still a problem. On average 665% of them earn less than 50 thousand a year while. Forcing most to move back in with their parents and holding off on making huge purchases such as homes, or getting married.
- Digital natives have been born with tools such as internet and smart phones being available to them. While digital immigrants are folks tipically over 30 who have seen the sudden rise of technology and almost seem like foreigners to it.
- Much like facebook, twitter shares information instantly and even email still has many applications that serve Millennials well.
- Facebook is a very informal way that students get information, more like rumors the information that is gathered here spreads quickly and widely.

- With the introduction of so many different learning capable tools into the curriculum educators have to manage a different type of learning environment making it so that the student is the center of the learning and putting the responsibility on them by letting them explore and be the creators of their own learning. However because the information is accessible much quicker they have become very impatient and get bored very easily. They must know everything and the outcome of everything at the moment they are done with it.
