2. Introduction
Welcome to your Webquest on the Mesozoic Era. The Mesozoic Era is the time of
the great reptiles. We all know what reptiles that were living during this time.
That’s right, the Dinosaurs. Who would’ve known that the dinosaurs were
actually reptiles, like the reptiles that we are accustomed to today?
This Webquest is going to go into depth as to what the world was like during the
Mesozoic Era. Mesozoic means, “Middle Animal”, the living creatures during this
time were not the same either before or after the Mesozoic Era.
Tasks
Your task for this Webquest is to create a time line of the 3 specific eras that
consist within the Mesozoic Era and create three posters describing each era,
creatures that existed in that era, plants that existed, climate, and the time period.

This project will be completed outside of class.
You will use the resource provided above or you can research your own
links for information. Any information that does not come from the web
page provided must be cited on your project.
Your project will be created on Microsoft PowerPoint and you will create a
poster through the PowerPoint when you are finished I will print off the
copies.
Your project should include a lot of pictures and be visually appealing.
I want a lot of correct facts about the time periods that you include.
