the two mediums combining to boost the awareness and
popularity of the film. The Inbetweeners movie was released at
the same time as the main characters of the movie talk to
absolute radio about their film and the secrets behind it. This is
both the film industry and radio industry coming together to
grab audiences attention about this film. The radio podcast was
also available on iTunes for free which would make consumers
listen to it because it doesn't’t expect money to watch it. This
radio podcast generates a buzz for the movie as it gives
consumers a general synopsis of the film and gets them exited to
watch it.
3. Synergy
Synergy is marketing a film with more than one
company involved this has been done as the marketing
techniques that this movie has used are: advertisement
posters, a trailer, generating a buzz on social
networking sights for example twitter, creating their
own website promoting the film, Film premiere etc. The
aim of this is to create as much awareness as possible
so when the film is released the box office is a success.
