The document discusses the key body systems involved in the three vital functions of nutrition, interaction, and reproduction in humans. It describes the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and excretory systems that work together to enable nutrition. It then explains how the sensory and nervous systems, including the five senses, allow for the interaction function by detecting internal and external stimuli and sending messages to the brain to coordinate responses through the musculoskeletal system.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
2. THE THREE VITAL FUNCTIONS
THE INTERACTION FUNCTION
THE SENSORY SISTEM
THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM
3. All living things have one thing in common: they
can carry out the three vital functions if nutrition,
interaction and reproducton
The human body and nutrition
We need nutrition in order to keep our bodies
working. The digestive system, the repiratory
sistem, the circulatory system and excretory
system.
4. The digestive system
The digestive system
breaks down the food we
eat into smaller molecules
that our body can absorb.
The stomach and the
intestines are organs of the
digestive system.
The respiratory system
The respiratory system
absorbs oxygen into the
body and releases carbon
dioxide. The lungs and the
trachea are organs of the
respiratory.
The circulatory system
The circulatory system
transports blood all over the
body. The heart is an organ
of the circulatory system.
The excretory system
The excretory system
eliminates the waste our
body produces. The
kidneys are organs of the
excretory system.
5. Human beings are able to control and coordinate
activities throught the interaction function. It
enables living things to recive information either
from the enviroment or from their own body
through the sense organs and respond to it.
6. EXTERNAL EXTIMULI:
Are changes that happen in our enviroment inside the body. Our
sense organs capture these stimuli and send a message to the
brain. The ears are sense organ. When they hear a loud noise,
they send a message to the brain. The brain tells us to turn into
the unexpected noise.
INTERNAL STIMULI:
Are changes that happen inside our body. Receptor organs
inside our body recive these stimuli. Then, they send a message
to the brain. The stomach is a receptive organ because it takes
in food. When it is empty, it tells the brain we are hungry. The
brain tells us to eat food
7. STIMULUS-SENSATION:
A estimulus is any action or change in our
enviroment that we can feel.
PROCESSING INFORMATION:
The body sends information about the sensation
to the bran, and the brain decides
RESPONSE:
En order becomes and response to the stimuli and
an action thet tells the body what to do
8. MOTOR:
Happen when the musches move
GLANDULAR:
Happen when organs called glands produce a
substance
9. Five senses:
The sense of smell: nasal cavity and pituitary
The sense of taste: Tongue, taste buds and
flavours
The sense of touch: touch receptors
The sense of sight: eyes, pupil, lens, retina and
optic nerve
The sense of hearing: outer ear, iner ear, midle
ear, cochlea and auditory nerve.
10. SENSE ORGANS They respond to a stimulus and send impulses along the
sensory nerves
SENSORY NERVES They can carry information from the sense organ and inernal
organs to the central nervous system
CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM It recives and interprets information and produces
responses. It is made up of the spinal cord and the brain.
SPINALD CORD Produces fast and automatic responses.
BRAIN Is inside the cranium and it makes decisions and gives orders.
MOTOR NERVES The central nervous system coordinates the information
received and sends impulses along motor nerves. These motor nerves carry signals
from the central nervous system to the muscles in the musculoskeletal system.
THE BRAIN has three parts: the cerebellum, the brain stem an the cerebrum
The cerebellum: controls balance and coordination
The brain stem: controls organs functions
The cerebrum: Produces voluntary and involuntary responses
