Creator traveled the earth and saw that Winter's power had grown too strong, keeping the land frozen and barren. Creator sought the help of Spring, Summer, and Autumn, who each explained how Winter was disrupting their work and the natural cycle. They confronted Winter, but he was too powerful. Creator realized that together their magics were stronger, so he summoned all of their powers. Winter disappeared and the seasons returned to their proper places, with Spring, Summer, and Autumn bringing life back to the land. Creator was pleased that the balance of nature had been restored.

1. THE FOUR SEASONS

2. Creator travelled the Earth making
things right. One day, he went
across the sea in his canoe.
As the canoe approached the shore,
the weather got colder. There were
strong winds, big waves, and it was
freezing cold.

3. Creator left the canoe and stepped onto the
frozen earth. He looked to the north, and saw
nothing but snow. There were no animals.
He looked to the south. He saw tall trees covered
in white snow. There were no leaves on the trees.
The rivers were frozen. All the birds and animals
had disappeared.

4. Creator looked at the people. They
were suffering. They were cold and
hungry because they had no animals
to hunt.
“This is not right. “Nothing can live in
this harshness”

5. Creator used all his magic to try to
make the Earth warmer. Nothing
changed. No matter what creator
did, the Earth remained freezing
cold. Everywhere was still covered
in ice and snow.

6. Creator was tired. He sat down to rest on a
high mountain. Suddenly, a freezing wind
covered him in snow. A giant made of ice
walked out of the snow. A loud voice
shouted through the wind.

7. “I am Winter. My power is so great, the
people are scared, the animals run
away, and the waters turn to ice. Even
your magic is frozen. Soon the whole
Earth will be mine.”
Winter laughed, and flew away in the
wind.

8. “I need help”

9. Creator kept walking, and the weather got
warmer. He walked on soft new grass, and saw
flowers growing. Birds flew over him.
Creator saw a handsome young man. He was
taller than the trees, and birds flew around him.
He carried lots of plants. One by one, he planted
them in the meadows.

10. “Good day, Spring. I
need your help.”
Creator told Spring
about Winter.
“It is true. Each year
Winter takes more
time. Soon there will
be nothing left for
me. I will not be able
to wake up the
animals or the
insects or help the
people grow plants!”

11. Creator and Spring decided to work together. They
went to look for help.
The weather got hot. They walked through beautiful
forests full of animals and flowers. They heard birds
singing.
The followed a river to a deep lake. Next to the lake
stood a beautiful woman with flowers in her hair. She
was gently pouring water and fish into the lake.

12. “Good morning,
Summer. We need your
help.”

13. Creator told her about
Winter.
“Everything was frozen.
There were no animals.
The people were suffering.
Winter makes it difficult for
me to do my work.”
“Without your work, I
cannot do mine. I will lose
my power. The animals
and insects will not return.
The people will have no
food.
It’s not right.
We will need more help.”

14. Creator, Spring and Summer went to look for help. As
they walked, the green trees turned red and brown. The
weather became cooler. Birds and insects flew away.
Animals looked for food in preparation for a long sleep.
Finally, they met a tall man dressed in colorful clothes.
He was painting green the trees red and brown.

15. “Good afternoon
Autumn, we need
your help”
Creator told him
about Winter.
“Everything was
frozen. There
were no animals.
The people were
suffering.”
“Winter makes it
difficult for me to
do my work”
“And I won’t be
able to do mine”
“It’s not right”

16. Autumn knew that without Summer´s
work, he would not be able to do his
own. He could not paint the trees with
beautiful colours. The forests would
die. There would be no food. But he
didn’t know what to do.
“I know that Winter comes earlier every
year, but what can we do? He is very
strong. We are not strong enough to
stop him”

17. “It is not right”
“It is true that Winter is strong. But there is something stronger”
“What?”
“Us. If we work together, our magic is
stronger”

18. Creator led Spring, Summer and
Autumn to the frozen lands of
winter. As they walked, it got
colder, and it began to snow.
There was a strong wind.
Suddenly, Winter appeared.
“ Which of you dares to challenge
me?”

19. Creator stepped forward. The wind and snow stopped. He gathered his strength and
summoned all of his powerful magic. He grew so big that he filled the heavens. He
shouted so loudly that his voice echoed across the universe.
“Winter, we come together”

20. The snow melted as Winter disappeared. The ground where Spring,
Summer and Autumn stood burst to life. Everything was colourful, and
animals started to appear. Winter went back to his proper place in the
cycle of the four seasons.
Creator looked upon the Earth.
“This is right”
