This document outlines the foods that are allowed and not allowed on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) for treating Crohn's disease. Foods not allowed include wheat, fluid milk, rice, potatoes, canned drinks, okra, juice from concentrate, canned tomato sauce/paste/puree, seaweed, and corn. Foods allowed include eggs, low-sugar fruit, butter, nuts, homemade yogurt, lentil soup, canned whole tomatoes, dates, almond flour, kidney beans, coconut oil, honey, and sparkling water. Certain additives like carrageenan, xantham gum, cellulose, and potato starch are also not allowed.
