This document discusses the STaR Chart, a teacher self-assessment tool aligned with Texas's Long-Range Plan for Technology. The STaR Chart evaluates schools in four key domains: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation, Leadership/Support, and Infrastructure. Schools are rated on a scale from Early Tech to Target Tech. Lamar High School has maintained Advanced Tech and Target Tech ratings from 2006-2009. To further improve technology integration, Lamar should focus on Teaching and Learning and Educator Preparation. The STaR Chart can be used for technology planning, budgeting, evaluation, and applying for grants.

Lamar High School has maintained a proficiency rating of Advance Tech and Target Tech classification during the 2006-2009 school years. Lamar should focus on strengthening the areas of Teaching and Learning and Educator Preparation and Development to improve the level of technology integration to insure the best possible teaching and learning for all students.
