The Texas STaR Chart is a teacher tool that helps schools assess their progress in four areas of technology focus: teaching and learning, educator preparation and development, leadership administration and instructional support, and infrastructure for technology. Schools are rated at four levels of progress - early tech, developing tech, advanced tech, and target tech. The purpose of the STaR Chart is to help schools meet technology goals outlined in their campus/district goals and the state's long-range technology plan by assisting with technology planning, budgeting, and evaluating progress.
