The Texas STaR Chart is an assessment designed around four areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation and development, leadership administration and instructional support, and infrastructure for technology. It is aligned with Texas' Long-Range Plan for Technology and aims to help schools evaluate their progress in meeting technology goals. While infrastructure and teaching have improved over time, educator development has seen the lowest gains, indicating more training is needed to help teachers effectively use new technologies.
