Thermal imaging cameras are useful for optimizing the layout of electronic components by allowing engineers to visualize temperature distributions and heat development over time without contact. High-resolution cameras are needed to measure the smallest structures reliably. The Testo 890 camera meets these needs with a 640x480 pixel detector and 42° lens, enabling resolution of structures as small as 113 micrometers. This allows engineers to record thermal processes in real time via fully radiometric video and analyze temperature measurements at any point to precisely study heat development and identify areas for improvement.
