This is usually serious, strident, forceful and official. This also
differentiates the channel to any other channel. This music goes in

There are many shots of the news reporter behind the news desk
this is something that is very common on radio channels. Being
behind a desk and having a sheet of paper gives off the image
that the reporter knows everything, when in fact there
information can be limited.

8. SEEING THE NEWSROOM BEHIND/PHOTOS – SLOW
ZOOMS
Psychologically when you see all the ‘newsrooms’ behind the anchor or in the
establishing shot you feel as if you are getting all the big headlines from around
the world covered. When you see the correspondent of certain places around the
world you feel connected to the latest news globally. In the beginning of the news
programmes you see slow zooms at the desk from a from a short close up to a
extreme close up.in a lot of channels the news team purposely anonymize faces
of the suspects.
