DEVELOP OUR NEWSCAST, THE FOLLOWING

allow our
audience to
feel intrigued
and to
compare
other
peoples
opinion with
their own
outside broadcast:
To create awareness
Interviews:
To know the
views of other
people and to
answer
questions the
audience may
have about the
story
FORMALITY AND INFORMALITY
We spoke formally and
addressed each story
individually; this
augments our
newscast so the
audience are able to
understand the level
of seriousness.
We also spoke
informally, we put
all the seriousness
aside and spoke
calmly and with
ease so our
audience feel
relaxed too.
WEATHER
A quick weather
forecast was used
to give a brief
outline on how the
day will be like
HEADLINES
We used headlines to introduce our
story hence the audience would be
aware of what will be covered for the
day’s news.
NAME AND SLOGAN
Slogan:
Similar to a real
newscast we used
a slogan ‘listen to
the stars’ to match
our name and also
to attract mass
audience.
Radio name:
A radio name is
used so the
audience can
refer to us and
rate our newscast
CONTACT INFORMATION
In order to stay in
contact with our
audience and fans,
we gave them our
email address,
twitter and
facebook name.
BEGINNING AND ENDING
Begins with the most important and
heartfelt story: mother killing baby
Ended with a happy and optimistic
ending: raising money for an event
THE FOLLOWING SLIDES INCLUDES HOW WE
HAVE CHALLENGED REAL NEWSCASTS. WE
USED UNIQUE TECHNIQUES TO ENHANCE OUR
RADIO STATION.
