2. How to Create a New Presentation?
When you start PowerPoint application, it opens in the view
called Normal view, where you create and work on slides.
But, if you would like to create a new Presentation, do the
following:
1. Click the File tab, and then click New.
2. Click Blank Presentation, and then click Create.
4. How to Add text to your Slide?
Below, the dotted border represents the placeholder that
contains the title text for the slide.
5. To add text to slide, do the
following:
Click inside the placeholder, and then type in your text.
You can drag the handle areas to expand the text area or
increase the placeholder spacing.
6. How to Name and Save your
Presentation
It is recommended to name and save your presentation immediately and then to
save your changes frequently while you work:
To name and save your presentation, follow these steps:
1. Click the File tab.
2. Click Save As, and then choose one of the following in the Save as
type list:
· PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx): saving your presentation in this
format will enable it to be opened only in PowerPoint 2010 or PowerPoint
2007.
· PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation (*.ppt): this format enables
your presentation to be opened in either PowerPoint 2010 or earlier
versions of PowerPoint.
7. How to Add a New slide?
you can you add, rearrange and delete a slide in your
presentation. To add a slide and slide layout of your new
slide, follow the steps below:
On the Home tab, in the Slides group, click the arrow next
to New Slide. and then click the slide layout that you want.
9. How to re-arrange the order of
Slides?
1. In Normal view, Click the Slides tab,
2. Click the slide that you want to move, and then drag it to
the location that you want.
How to Delete a Slide
· 1. In Normal view, click the Slides tab,
· 2. Right-click the slide that you want to delete, and
then click Delete Slide.
10. How to view a slide show.
To view your presentation in Slide Show view from the first
slide, do the following:
On the Slide Show tab, in the Start Slide Show group,
click From Beginning
