This document outlines Southridge Elementary's technology action plan with the goals of: 1. Using student data to drive instruction and interventions through technology integration. 2. Ensuring alignment of expectations for basic math skills through technology-based assessments and interventions. 3. Utilizing various classroom technologies like SMART Boards, digital cameras and response systems to enhance student learning. 4. Continuing to use technology to communicate with parents and the community.

This organizational chart depicts the chain of command from the district central office to the campus
level. It all begins with the board of trustees, who make all the major decisions regarding school policy,
curriculum, expenses, and expansion. It is the school board members, working collaboratively, who elect
the superintendent as its CEO.
The superintendent is instrumental in ensuring the district’s operations are handled appropriately,
according to state and federal laws. He also leads the various district leaders, including the assistant
superintendents and chief technology officer, each of whom direct their specific areas in accordance to
the district policies set forth by Dr. Waddell and the school board.

2. Barbara Brown serves as the Chief Technology for the district. Her position, is leading the direction of
the technology department through:

assistance, guidance, and instruction to campus teachers and staff in implementing technology

the data service applications (online gradebook, PEIMS applications, Skyward, etc.)
The principals, who report directly to their appropriate Zone Leader, must ensure that the faculty and
staff adhere to the specific guidelines set forth by the technology department, including, but not limited
to:
