This document provides information about a team task and roles for candidates on a design project. It introduces Belbin's team roles model and assigns roles to 9 candidates: Andrew Banks (Shaper), Richard Bates (Implementer), Angela Cabbot (Completer - Finisher), David Browne (Coordinator), James Tomkinson (Team Worker), Susan Meadows (Resource Investigator), Darren Blunt (Plant), Haris Pancholi (Monitor), Dave Cook (Specialist). It evaluates how well the team is balanced according to Belbin's ideal team model and notes the purpose of a team is to combine members' skills and achieve goals through shared work and responsibility.

4. If the correct combination is achieved and the focus of their purpose is defined clearly, it provides a framework in which all aspects of the organisational, planning, problem solving and decision making can be achieved more effectively.
