 Aims: during this lesson , learners will be able to
- Identify the main greetings as Hello / Goodbye
- Identify the structure “What´s your name?
- Develop their listening skills by listening to a song.

 Teaching approach:
-I will use PPP ( PRESENTATION - PRACTICE- PRODUCTION), based in the Natural Approach
through it students are encouraged to speak English In a natural way.
 Materials and resources:
-In this lesson, I will use computer, colors papers, colours, poster, puppets.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class:
-At first the students will watch a video. In the video they will watch an introduction of the
topic of the lessons (Hello / Goodbye/What´s your name?)
 Seating arrangement:
-At first students will stand up to greet, after that they will sit on the floor in a circle to watch
the video. Finally they will stand up again to act and sing the song.
 Cooperative work
-This stage is a bit difficult to work with young learners, then the teacher will help them with
gestures and imitation and they will help each other or a partner when somebody doesn´t
remember the words.
 Assessment:
-When students produce the words “Hello “ or “ Goodbye “ in the correct context and they will
answer with their name when the teacher asks them “What´s your name?” is a form of
assessment.
Routine: 5’
Purpose:
To get students into the mood of work.
-I will get into the classroom and I will greet students: ‘Hello everyone! , How are you?’
-I will say them ‘Hello’ to encourage them to answer me ‘Hello’ too.
- Now we are going to listen to the song “Hello” to get students into mood of work.

Warm-up 10’:
-After they will listen to the Hello song.
-I will say them : “Let´s sit on the floor!”
-First I will introduce me, I will say them: “Hello, I am Miss Claudia. How are you?”
-We will sit in a circle on the floor and a Peppa Pig puppet will appear. It will say them: Hello
everyone!. I will ask them: Who is she? What is her name?
-I will use my hands and my gestures to point them or to help them to understand, to encourage
them to say me “Peppa Pig”
-Then the puppet (me) will say “ Let´s watch funny pictures’.
-I will present them different pictures in a power point in my computer about Peppa Pig, her
family and her friends.
-I expect that students can recognize Peppa Pig then I could introduce with her the next
activity.
Presentation (10’)
-While they are watching the video, I will touch the pictures and I will ask them Who is it?
What is her name? , I will show them Peppa Pig and I will guide them and encourage them to say
‘Peppa Pig’.
Transition: Ok, very good! She is Peppa Pig! (enthusiastically).
Development (15)
Purpose:
- To guide students into practice. I will guide them to say ‘Hello, Peppa Pig!
Activity 1
At first I will work with their teachers then I will point her teacher then I will say her
´Hello, Whats your name?’
- After the puppet will point each students and it will say ‘Hello, What´s your name?’
-I will expect that everyone can say ‘Hello, my name is……
Transition.
-The teacher says: ‘Excellent work! ‘ Now we are going to paint!
Activity 2
Purpose
-To check the student´s understanding.
-The students will sit on their chairs.
Transition:
-Now we are going to paint and write!
I will give them a copy with a drawing.
I will read the greeting and the questions in the drawing and I will say them:
´Hello, What´s your name?’.
Each copy will have the name of each children in the circle, they will paste colors paper on it ( if
anyone can´s do alone I will help them ) when they finish they will paint the picture of the boy
or the girl.

Transition:
-Oh, look your pictures are very nice!
Closure (5´)
Let´s go! Hold the pictures in your places! ( Each picture will be holded in a place in the
classroom with their names)
Transition: Let´s go! To finish the class we are going to sing a goodbye song. They will stand up
and do a circle.

In this lesson, I will use puppets, pictures, internet, video.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class:
Learners will sing and watch the video with their family at home.
 Seating arrangement:
At first they will sit on the floor to see the presentation of the new animals and to watch the
video. Finally they will sit in the table in groups to complete a figure to discover an animal.
 Cooperative work
Teacher will guide students and help them when they need to produce the new vocabulary and
they will help each other when someone won´t remember the correct animal´s name.
 Assessment:
I’ll check that students comprehend and identify the different animals during the class and
when they will do the last activity.
Routine: 5’
Purpose:
- To start the lesson, get students into the mood for work.
I will arrive to the class and I ´ll say “Hello everyone, how are you”.
We will sing the song to say “Hello” like the class before, the purpose to repeat each class the
same song is that children can incorporate it in their routine.

After, I will say “Everyone will sit on the floor”. Then I will look at the teacher and I will say
her: ´Hello, Miss Gloria? ´,I will encourage to the teacher to say me “Hello, Miss Claudia”.
Then I will do the same with the students , I will point at them and I will say : ‘Hello……´(with
some students I will say the name ´Hello, Ines ’ but in others cases I will pretend that I don´t
remember her or his name then I will ask them ´Hello, What is your name?´).
In this activity I want to revise the greetings and the question that we learn the day before.
When I ask them Hello , What´s your name ? I pretend that they will answer me “ Hello, Miss
Claudia! My name is …..
Warm-up 5’:
Purpose:
-To introduce the topic and the teaching points.
I will show them Peppa Pig ´s puppet then I will greet her. I will imitate her voice then she will
answer me ´Hello.´
After, I will use Peppa Pig to introduce other animals . For example
I will tell them that Peppa Pig has a lot of friends as a cat, a frog, a dog . Then,
Peppa pig will say “Hello, What ´s your name ?” and I will use a ca´s puppet to show them:
´Hello, I´m a cat´.
I will the same to introduce the dog , the frog and finally I will say Peppa is a pig (to teach pig.)
Transition:´Well done, now we are going to greet the animals”. Look here , please´.
Presentation: 10’
-To further expose the learners to the target language.
Here, I will show them the pictures of different animals and I will ask students ‘What is the
name? they will say the names: CAT- DOG- PIG – FROG – FISH ´.
Development (10´)
Activity 1
After, I will encourage them to repeat and recognize the animals then I will tell them: ‘Now we
are going to greet the animals ´. Then I will show the cat then they will say ‘Hello, cat? And the
same with the others animals.
When we finish to greet the animals they can stand up and recognize the animals , touching the
poster, and they could say “Hello, cat” or “ Hello, frog”
Activity 2:
I will give them a white /empty sheet with the title ´HELLO´.
Then in groups of four in each table they will draw the animals. When they finish I will ask
them:” Which animals is it?” I will encourage them to say “cat” frog” then I will write the names
of the five animals in their sheets: FROG- CAT- PIG – DOG
Each of them will show the sheet and tell us what animal he or she drew. The teacher will guide
them to say the name “What is the name?”
HELLO!
CLOSURE:
The teacher will hold the pictures in the classroom in a place where they put their drawings.
Transition: Ýou work very hard! Now hold them in the class!
Now, we are going to sing the song “It´s time to say goodbye”(The same that the last class)

In this lesson, I will use a poster, temperas, plastic plates, video or a power point.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class:
In this lesson I will use a video or a power point about colours to expose students to the
teaching point.
 Seating arrangement:
At first they will sit on the floor after they will sit on the chairs to paint.
 Cooperative work
Children can interact with the teacher and with their partners. I can help them to take turn to
perform the activities. I will guide or help them with gestures or mime when they need.
 Assessment:
I will check children´s understanding when they say the colours alone and identify them.
Routine: 5’
Purpose
-To engage students with the topic.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: “Hello!, How are you today?” EA: “Hello!” Now we
sing the song :
We will sing the song to say “Hello” like the class before, the purpose to repeat each class the
same song is that children can incorporate it in their routine.

Warm-up 5’:
Purpose
-To prepare students for the lesson.
-To revise the topic before.
-To introduce the topic.
“Let´s now we are going to say what colour are they?
I will touch the fish and I will say “It´s red”, I will touch the frog then I will say “It´s green”, I
will do the same with the others animals and with Peppa Pig.
I will guide and will show and point them with my hands and with my gestures and imitate.
When I finish I will touch an animal and I will ask them : “What colour is it?” to encourage them
to say “red”
Transition “Well now, we are going to watch some objects”
Presentation (10´)
-To show the children the new contents to learn and encourage and guide them into practice.
After they watch the video I will show them real objects with the colours . I will say “It´s red “
and then I will encourage and guide them to say each the colour.
For example :
I will remove from an object and the children should say the color. I will help and guide them
when they don´t remember the color.
Transition:”Excellent work” now, it´s time to play!
Development: (10)
Purpose:
-To practise the new topic.
Now, everybody will sit on the floor.
On the floor there will be reactangles of different colours.
Then I will take a red rectangle for example and I will say: “It´s red “ and everybody will look
for a rectangle of the same colour , rise it and shout “It´s red”
After we practise some times I won´t take the rectangle, I will only say “green” and they will
take the correct colour. I will always guide and help them with my gesture, for example a happy
face when it is right or a sad face when it is wrong.
Transition: Good work children! Now it´s time to watch the video!
Closure (5´)
Purpose
-To check the children understanding
They will watch the video and they will repeat the colours together with the video.

 Teaching approach:
- I will use CLIL ( Content Language Integrated Learning ) method. Students will
encourage to speak English in a natural way, without to force them to do it.
 Materials and resources:
In this lesson, I will use puzzles, colours, a power point about animals or flashcards with
different animals painted in different colours, computer, crayons.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class:
I will use the routine videos to say Hello and to say Goodbye. I will use a power pointtoo.
 Seating arrangement:
Children will be stand while they sing and dance in circle the song Hello and Goodbye. After
they will sit on the floor to do the activities with the power point and in the last activity
(puzzle)they will sit on their chairs and tables.
 Cooperative work
I will help or guide them with gesture while they do the activities id they don´t understand
and they will help their partners when the other doesn´t answer. During these years (three
or four years) children are spontaneous then they act naturally.
 Assessment:
I will check them during all the activities but to complete the puzzles and can say the animal
and the color is a specific activity to assess.
This class is shorter than the previous ones, only 30 minutes, therefore I plan fewer and
shorter activities.
Routine: 5’
Purpose
-To prepare the students to begin the class.
I will enter to the class and I will say “ Hello, students” How are you? I will say “Hello, Inés , how
are you” and “You Charo , How are you?”
Now , let´s sing the Hello song !
We will sing the song to say “Hello” like the class before, the purpose to repeat each class the
same song is that children can incorporate it in their routine.

Warm-up 5’:
Purpose: To prepare the students for the new lesson.
They will practice the colors. Then I will show them a rectangle and they will say the color.
Transition:
Presentation: 5´
Purpose: To guide students into practice.
Students will watch a power point with animals painted in different colors.
I will show each poster and I will ask them “What is the name” “What color is it” to encourage
them to use the animals and the colors.
Transition. “Ok , good work now we are going to play!
Development: 10´
Purpose: to practice and recognize the animals and colors together.
They will sit on their chairs and tables in five groups and I will give them a puzzle of an animals
painted in a color. In groups they will put the puzzle together, paste it in a sheet and after they
will say to the rest of the class “It´s a green frog”
Transition´: Ok, now we finish.!
Closure 5´
Purpose: to greet them because it is the last class. I will say them: Goodbye everyone !

LEXIS FUNCTION STRUCTURE PRONUNCIATION NEW Hello! Goodbye! What´s your name? Greetings Presentation  Teaching approach: -I will use PPP ( PRESENTATION - PRACTICE- PRODUCTION), based in the Natural Approach through it students are encouraged to speak English In a natural way.  Materials and resources: -In this lesson, I will use computer, colors papers, colours, poster, puppets.
  • 2.  Pedagogical use of ICT in class: -At first the students will watch a video. In the video they will watch an introduction of the topic of the lessons (Hello / Goodbye/What´s your name?)  Seating arrangement: -At first students will stand up to greet, after that they will sit on the floor in a circle to watch the video. Finally they will stand up again to act and sing the song.  Cooperative work -This stage is a bit difficult to work with young learners, then the teacher will help them with gestures and imitation and they will help each other or a partner when somebody doesn´t remember the words.  Assessment: -When students produce the words “Hello “ or “ Goodbye “ in the correct context and they will answer with their name when the teacher asks them “What´s your name?” is a form of assessment. Routine: 5’ Purpose: To get students into the mood of work. -I will get into the classroom and I will greet students: ‘Hello everyone! , How are you?’ -I will say them ‘Hello’ to encourage them to answer me ‘Hello’ too. - Now we are going to listen to the song “Hello” to get students into mood of work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gghDRJVxFxU Every day I go to school I meet my friends And we all say Hello!   • 3. Warm-up 10’: -After they will listen to the Hello song. -I will say them : “Let´s sit on the floor!” -First I will introduce me, I will say them: “Hello, I am Miss Claudia. How are you?” -We will sit in a circle on the floor and a Peppa Pig puppet will appear. It will say them: Hello everyone!. I will ask them: Who is she? What is her name? -I will use my hands and my gestures to point them or to help them to understand, to encourage them to say me “Peppa Pig” -Then the puppet (me) will say “ Let´s watch funny pictures’. -I will present them different pictures in a power point in my computer about Peppa Pig, her family and her friends. -I expect that students can recognize Peppa Pig then I could introduce with her the next activity. Presentation (10’) -While they are watching the video, I will touch the pictures and I will ask them Who is it? What is her name? , I will show them Peppa Pig and I will guide them and encourage them to say ‘Peppa Pig’. Transition: Ok, very good! She is Peppa Pig! (enthusiastically). Development (15) Purpose: - To guide students into practice. I will guide them to say ‘Hello, Peppa Pig! Activity 1 At first I will work with their teachers then I will point her teacher then I will say her ´Hello, Whats your name?’ - After the puppet will point each students and it will say ‘Hello, What´s your name?’ -I will expect that everyone can say ‘Hello, my name is…… Transition. -The teacher says: ‘Excellent work! ‘ Now we are going to paint! Activity 2 Purpose -To check the student´s understanding. -The students will sit on their chairs. Transition: -Now we are going to paint and write! I will give them a copy with a drawing. I will read the greeting and the questions in the drawing and I will say them: ´Hello, What´s your name?’.
  • 4. Each copy will have the name of each children in the circle, they will paste colors paper on it ( if anyone can´s do alone I will help them ) when they finish they will paint the picture of the boy or the girl. HELLO! HELLO!
  • 5. Transition: -Oh, look your pictures are very nice! Closure (5´) Let´s go! Hold the pictures in your places! ( Each picture will be holded in a place in the classroom with their names) Transition: Let´s go! To finish the class we are going to sing a goodbye song.   • 8. At first they will sit on the floor to see the presentation of the new animals and to watch the video. Finally they will sit in the table in groups to complete a figure to discover an animal.  Cooperative work Teacher will guide students and help them when they need to produce the new vocabulary and they will help each other when someone won´t remember the correct animal´s name.  Assessment: I’ll check that students comprehend and identify the different animals during the class and when they will do the last activity. Routine: 5’ Purpose: - To start the lesson, get students into the mood for work. I will arrive to the class and I ´ll say “Hello everyone, how are you”. Then I will look at the teacher and I will say her: ´Hello, Miss Gloria? ´,I will encourage to the teacher to say me “Hello, Miss Claudia”. Then I will do the same with the students , I will point at them and I will say : ‘Hello……´(with some students I will say the name ´Hello, Ines ’ but in others cases I will pretend that I don´t remember her or his name then I will ask them ´Hello, What is your name?´). In this activity I want to revise the greetings and the question that we learn the day before. When I ask them Hello , What´s your name ? I pretend that they will answer me “ Hello, Miss Claudia! My name is ….. Warm-up 5’: Purpose: -To introduce the topic and the teaching points. I will show them Peppa Pig ´s puppet then I will greet her. I will imitate her voice then she will answer me ´Hello.´ After, I will use Peppa Pig to introduce other animals . For example I will tell them that Peppa Pig has a lot of friends as a cat, a frog, a dog . Then, Peppa pig will say “Hello, What ´s your name ?” and I will use a ca´s puppet to show them: ´Hello, I´m a cat´. I will the same to introduce the dog , the frog and finally I will say Peppa is a pig (to teach pig.) Transition:´Well done, now we are going to greet the animals”. Look here , please´. Presentation: 10’ -To further expose the learners to the target language. Here, I will show them the pictures of different animals and I will ask students ‘What is the name? they will say the names: CAT- DOG- PIG – FROG – FISH ´.
  • 9. Development (10´) Activity 1 After, I will encourage them to repeat and recognize the animals then I will tell them: ‘Now we are going to greet the animals ´. Then I will show the cat then they will say ‘Hello, cat? And the same with the others animals. When we finish to greet the animals they can stand up and recognize the animals , touching the poster, and they could say “Hello, cat” or “ Hello, frog” Activity 2: I will give them a white /empty sheet with the title ´HELLO´. Then in groups of four in each table they will draw the animals. When they finish I will ask them:” Which animals is it?” I will encourage them to say “cat” frog” then I will write the names of the five animals in their sheets: FROG- CAT- PIG – DOG Each of them will show the sheet and tell us what animal he or she drew. The teacher will guide them to say the name “What is the name?” HELLO!
  • 10. CLOSURE: The teacher will hold the pictures in the classroom in a place where they put their drawings. Transition: Ýou work very hard! Now hold them in the class!   • 12. At first they will sit on the floor after they will sit on the chairs to paint.  Cooperative work Children can interact with the teacher and with their partners. I can help them to take turn to perform the activities. I will guide or help them with gestures or mime when they need.  Assessment: I will check children´s understanding when they say the colours alone and identify them. Routine: 5’ Purpose -To engage students with the topic. I will guide and will show and point them with my hands and with my gestures and imitate. When I finish I will touch an animal and I will ask them : “What colour is it?” to encourage them to say “red” Transition “Well now, we are going to watch some objects” Presentation (10´) -To show the children the new contents to learn and encourage and guide them into practice. After they watch the video I will show them real objects with the colours . I will say “It´s red “ and then I will encourage and guide them to say each the colour. For example :
  • 13. I will remove from an object and the children should say the color. I will help and guide them when they don´t remember the color. Transition:”Excellent work” now, it´s time to play! Development: (10) Purpose: -To practise the new topic. Now, everybody will sit on the floor. On the floor there will be reactangles of different colours. Then I will take a red rectangle for example and I will say: “It´s red “ and everybody will look for a rectangle of the same colour , rise it and shout “It´s red” After we practise some times I won´t take the rectangle, I will only say “green” and they will take the correct colour. I will always guide and help them with my gesture, for example a happy face when it is right or a sad face when it is wrong. Transition: Good work children! Now it´s time to watch the video! LEXIS FUNCTION STRUCTURE PRONUNCIATION REVISION Frog- fish- pig – cat – dog - Red- green- pink – yellow- blue- Saying the animals and the colours It is a red fish / pink pig  Teaching approach: - I will use CLIL ( Content Language Integrated Learning ) method. Students will encourage to speak English in a natural way, without to force them to do it.  Materials and resources: In this lesson, I will use puzzles, colours, a power point about animals or flashcards with different animals painted in different colours, computer, crayons.  Pedagogical use of ICT in class: I will use the routine videos to say Hello and to say Goodbye. I will use a power pointtoo.  Seating arrangement: Children will be stand while they sing and dance in circle the song Hello and Goodbye. After they will sit on the floor to do the activities with the power point and in the last activity (puzzle)they will sit on their chairs and tables.  Cooperative work I will help or guide them with gesture while they do the activities id they don´t understand and they will help their partners when the other doesn´t answer. During these years (three or four years) children are spontaneous then they act naturally.  Assessment: I will check them during all the activities but to complete the puzzles and can say the animal and the color is a specific activity to assess. This class is shorter than the previous ones, only 30 minutes, therefore I plan fewer and shorter activities. Routine: 5’ Purpose -To prepare the students to begin the class. I will enter to the class and I will say “ Hello, students” How are you? I will say “Hello, Inés , how are you” and “You Charo , How are you?” Now , let´s sing the Hello song ! Students will watch a power point with animals painted in different colors. I will show each poster and I will ask them “What is the name” “What color is it” to encourage them to use the animals and the colors. Transition. “Ok , good work now we are going to play! Development: 10´ Purpose: to practice and recognize the animals and colors together. They will sit on their chairs and tables in five groups and I will give them a puzzle of an animals painted in a color. In groups they will put the puzzle together, paste it in a sheet and after they will say to the rest of the class “It´s a green frog” Transition´: Ok, now we finish.! Closure 5´ Purpose: to greet them because it is the last class. I will say them: Goodbye everyone !
