There were mixed opinions on whether the main cover image should feature a group or single artist. Ultimately, having a well-liked artist on the cover was deemed most likely to increase demand for the issue, as many respondents said they wouldn't purchase the magazine without a cover artist they enjoy.

Task 5 masthead colour and font
- 1. Masthead Colour and Font I could use the colour yellow as it will stand out from the other colours and the background of the front cover. I have also used a thick black stroke which makes it stand out further. The font I used is called Rezland from DaFont.com. I chose this font because it suited the theme of R&B. However, I didn’t chose it because it also looked like it could be for electric and dance music and I wanted my masthead to look unique. I could use the colour red as it will stand out and catch the readers eye. Furthermore, the colour red is often associated with R&B music and I have seen the colour red on many other R&B music magazines. I have also used a thick black stroke which makes it stand out from the background. The font I used is called Lemon/Milk from DaFont.com. I chose this font because it suited the theme of R&B. I decided to chose this font and colour in the end because it stood out and it looked unique and exciting.
