According to Brown.(1995)
evaluation is an endless
process, through which
information is collected and
analyzed to assess the
effectiveness of its
components in the context in
which an educational is
immersed.
SUMMATIVE: Takes place at
the end of the course. Its
results are primarily for
teachers or school’s use.
Feedback is very limited. Ss
don´t have opportunity to be
reassessed.
FORMATIVE: Occurs in a short
term and let Ss put in practice
scaffolding and allows trhem
to change behaviour and
understandings.
