to provide brief information in a
small space
Interactive Media: There are many
purposes to interactive media. For
example, one purpose of
an interactive media product could
be to assess the users progress or
to educate the user about a
certain topic.
eBooks: The purpose of eBooks is
so that you can access and read
books digitally
E-Magazine: The purpose of E-
magazines is so that you can access
and read magazine digitally
E-Newspapers: The purpose of E-
newspapers is so that you can access
and read newspapers digitally
Flyer: The purpose of a flyer is so
that the paper advertisement
intended for wide distribution and
typically posted or distributed in a
public place, handed out to
individuals or sent through the mail

manuals: The purpose of
instruction is to help people learn.
The goal of instructional designers is
to make learning easier, quicker, and
more enjoyable
Promotional Material: The purpose of Promotional
Material is that you use it to promote your brand or
company to get people to buy your products.

Comparison Summary
There are some similarities and there are some differences. The purpose of an E-book, E-magazine and E-
newspapers is so that consumers are able to read things digitally but they are different in what they produce to
people. They are similar because these products are used on the same platform, for example a smartphone.
This means that you are able to access them easily by using your phone because it is an everyday tool for
people to be using. It is different to the other products because of the accessibility of the other products and
how the other products are used. For example, the purpose or adverts is to advertise and so that you can
persuade people to buy your products. This is different to an E-book because of they both have different
purposes. However, adverts has some similarities with Promotional Material. This is because the purpose of
Adverts and the purpose of Promotional Material is so that they can get their products on the map, get their
products out there. They are also different in what they promote. You could also say that a Leaflet is the same
as Promotional Material and Adverts because in a way, it is the same as them because they both inform people
about things and also that it will be similar to them because it still provides people with information about
things/products. But the difference is that Adverts aim is so that they can persuade people to buy their
products, Promotional Materials aim is to get their products and merchandise out and Leaflets gives us
information about products or activities.
