2. POP ART
.
For pop art it is constructed and done differently to cartoon and grudge because it is made up of dots and lines and colours which all adds up to make the picture.
The font used for pop art is usually big and bold and is usually in the middle of the picture and is usually quite big some texts overlap each other and use different
bright colours and outline it with a dark colour such as black. The bright colours that are used in pop art stand out in almost every pop art the artists have used
bright extravagant colours this is so each pop art painting stands out and is different from the rest ,what is different about this type of art is that they use small dots
that make up the whole picture this makes this kind of art unique. Pop art is usually them art that uses texts rather then cartoons and grudge because the text is
usually telling the audience what is going on for example the picture was a hand the text could be ‘’boom’’ indicating that the hand is going to punch something.
Social tensions
Struggles for democracy
3. CARTOON
composition, colour, typefaces
Cartoons are different to grudge because they use fictional characters where as grudge mainly uses non fictional characters it links to pop art because
both cartoon art and pop art both used fictional characters. Also a way that cartoons links to pop art is because of all the bright and bold colours that are
used rather than using black and dark colours like grudge. The size of the images in cartoons are usually big and placed in the middle of the background
this is the same fore pop art.
4. GRUDGE
The colours used in this are dark whereas in the other two they are bright and
colourful the genre for grudge is clearly to see that it is horror where as the
other two look like comedy or sci-fi. The background for this is very different
because the background is also important and they have put in time and effort
to make the background look as good as the character whereas cartoon has no
but pop art usually makes their background big and extravagant.
