This document describes a new procedure called Trans-Abdominoplasty Silicone Breast Augmentation (TASBA). TASBA combines elements of transumbilical breast augmentation (TUBA) and an abdominoplasty to allow for silicone gel breast implants to be placed through the abdomen without scars on the breasts. The procedure involves: 1) using TUBA techniques to create a subpectoral pocket, 2) elevating an abdominoplasty flap, 3) using a Keller Funnel to facilitate placement of silicone implants through the abdomen and into the pre-dissected pocket. TASBA provides an alternative for combined breast augmentation and abdominoplasty without scars on the breasts.
