This document discusses the relevance of co-working practices for social and creative innovation in the Mediterranean region. It outlines a vision for the Mediterranean in 2020 where new innovation potentials will be unlocked. Creative and social innovation will drive the development of a new Mediterranean model of innovation characterized by triple/quadruple loop learning. The realization of this vision will occur through transforming individual projects into an active Mediterranean innovation ecosystem. The document examines how co-working practices emphasized by the COWORKMED project, such as citizen engagement and non-monetary transactions, can highlight the potential of spatial and physical capital to contribute to this vision.
