Tale of the Expert Organization
In An Age of Wicked Problems

                                  1
2
What is a Wicked Problem?

The term „wicked‟ is used, not in the
sense of evil, but rather its resistance to
resolution.

Moreover, because of complex
interdependences, the effort to solve one
aspect of a wicked problem may reveal or
create other problems.

                                              3
• Experts are not who we think they
  are.
• Expertise is not where we think it is.
• The future of the expert organization
  is radically changing.
